Value and information needed on alpha machines

I have the opportunity to buy a lightly used alpha revolution stinging machine

The clamps get a little sticky every few weeks, but other than that the 6 point mounting and electronic tension head and display panel work fine

Is $300 a good price. And also does anyone know when these machines were made (aka age of machine)

If everything is in good working order (other than the clamps)you should be fine. You could probably remove,clean, and lube the clamps to get them working properly.
