Hi guys, i did big research in last 2weeks, i want replace my yonex polytour pro 1,25. Price for reel suppose to be under 80euros
I picked this strings Weisscanon silverstring/scorpion/tournabighittersilver/topspincyberflash/cyclone/lynx/Signum pro plasma pure
I want similar comfrot, control, durability as yptp but better top spin, feel. Sometimes yptp feels too muted.
Which one from this is the best one?
In my country prices are 82/66/49/49/66/55/55 euros per reel. Same order with prices like strings

Or i give me advice for some good string to 80euros, but only black/white/silver colours

IMO silverstring has better feel than YPTP but it definitely does NOT have better spin. Don't know about the others.
Yes, similar price like yptp but similliar properties, worse spin dont worth, i read that people using it lot on crosses in hybrid setups.

I agree. I like silverstring as a softer cross in a hybrid for those that are looking for that.

I think there are much better options today for a full bed poly than silverstring.

The same holds true for Big Hitter Silver. It is slicker than silverstring, stiffer, and cheaper and makes a nice cross. I wouldn't put in a full bed.

-here are my 2cents on these strings you listed
-these belong together: Weisscanon scorpion, head.lynx
-both are soft copolys; scorpion is old-school, lynx is new-school (new school should have better tension maintenace, if not, then not worth the price)

-btw having said ^,, none of these strings,(you listed) will have as good a tension resiliance/maintenace as the YPTP you are trying to change
-YPTP is unique!, low power, yes!, cool color, yes!, pricy, yes, but very good string IMO

-these belong together: Weisscanon silverstring, tourna bighittersilver, topspincyberflash (i have tested side by side T.BHSilver&T.CFlash, run a search if interested)
-Weisscanon silverstring, im not sure, but because its silver and old-school, i believe it would be in this category

-im not sure about these:
-cyclone - is this signum also??, if it is, there are tons of reviews on it
-Signum pro plasma pure- i havent used, but because its white, it could be both good or bad, "white polys" tend to be different in feel for many people; topspin also had a cyber-pure version

It lot of reviews about lynx, bad durability and even worse tension maintance, so i think it dont worth it. I cant find those yours reviews on combo TBHS/TSCF. its volkl cyclone and with signum you have right, same string different reviews.

MSV Focus Hex, cannot go wrong with that one.... €69,- per reel! That would be my pick for sub €80 reel
I tried MSv focus hex on Babolat pure strike 98 16x19. It was horrible, like board, i cut it after 3hours. So after this experience i dont think msv is for me. Spin was fine, but control feel stiffnes very bad, for me one of worst string what i played

I've tried all those strings and none of them measure up to YPTP for me.
For more spin and feel, I would recommend going to 1.20 or even 1.15.
Gut/YPTP 1.20 (which I've been using for several years) is just heavenly esp. when fresh.

Shame, so many string and all off worse like yptp :D ,Not bad idea too with 1.20, i think i found maybe one more string to compare. And its kirschbaum pro line evolution 1.25 .

At what tension? I string it in my 98 inch head racquet with 16*19 pattern at 47 lbs, it is a very comfortable ride. In 1.18mm diameter.

Green Lynx durability is average. I get about 8 hours out of it which is eh. Haven't played with YPTP but Lynx is very soft so it's probably more muted. Pretty much always on sale though so might be worth a try. If it had better tension maintenance I would have stopped my string search.

Cyclone is a pretty safe pick as it's middle of the road comfort wise.
