Do you have an F295?I'm pretty happy with my Rossignol collection so I'm not looking to add to my collection. There have been a couple of frames over the years that have sounded interesting and I'd like to hit with them though. The super flexible BastCore frames that were being talked about a few years back on the boards - I'd like to get my hands on one of them.
The Hi Tens are another series I'd be keen to try and I'd also like to try the Lacoste LT301.
I'm not especially hunting them right now but if any one of these happened to fall into my lap I wouldn't throw it away.
Another one for me is: head astral pro @vsbabolat which I finally pulled the trigger and bought one cuz I knew no one out there would have any experience with itDo you have an F295?
I would love to have a Kneissl Super Pro Vario, the weird, variable-balance version of the White Star Pro, in my collection as an oddity, though not as a “player.”
I too think it would be fun to have one of the three Snauwaert “Hi Ten” wide-string Barry Phillips-Moore racquet (as used by Mark Woodforde).
I was also going to chime in with the equijet. Can you compare it to any other frame?I held the black equijet yesterday it was glorious.was not anything special to play with tho.. thank god as I’d hate to of played my best tennis with her
Yes - back in Australia with the other three quarters of my collection. Never really enjoyed it. Stiff and the balance was a bit 'off' to me but I wouldn't mind getting some new strings in it. It felt like the successor to the F250.Do you have an F295?
No, the Comfort Edge is a graphite racquet, made in Austria and sold in Europe in the mid 80’s
I think I have one of these. The next time you’re in town and we have a hit, remind me and I will pass it into your safekeeping.HEAD Comfort Edge
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That’s very kind of youI think I have one of these. The next time you’re in town and we have a hit, remind me and I will pass it into your safekeeping.
They made it in different weight and balance. They had an SL that was very light with a head heavy balance.Yes - back in Australia with the other three quarters of my collection. How was it different from the regular graphite Edge sold in the US?No, the Comfort Edge is a graphite racquet, made in Austria and sold in Europe in the mid 80’s
I couldn't say what the weight of mine is. I picked it up a few months after I bought an F290 and I made the mistake of taking them both to the courts, preferring the 290 and just not using it much after that. Pretty racquet though. They made it in different weight and balance. They had an SL that was very light with a head heavy balance.
I like the idea of racquet that comes apart like this for air travel.

During the 80’s the racquets sold in EU and USA were different from HEAD. It was like there was 2 different companies. There was a large line of Edge racquets in Europe. While we had 4 in the USA (Graphite Edge, TXE Edge, Composite Edge, and Graphite Edge 2). I have a Graphite Edge for EU, it was made in Austria has an 18x20 string pattern, is silver pearl paint with blue and orange stripes. Very cool looking. The grommets started to split and break when I was striking it up so I stopped. Worst thing is to have shards of grommets in the frame. How was it different from the regular graphite Edge sold in the US?
I didn't care much for the Graphite Edge, but I thought the TXE Edge looked pretty cool.During the 80’s the racquets sold in EU and USA were different from HEAD. Yes. It probably wouldn't be difficult to produce a variable length racquet using this method of construction too. You could adjust the size from 25" up to 28" pretty easily.
Not at all! Just to check, is it this one?Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That’s very kind of you
Yes, that’s it. Thanks
If you are located in the US, PM me about the Bastcores.I'm pretty happy with my Rossignol collection so I'm not looking to add to my collection. I have a couple of F300's. One is a blue speckled paint and the other is more of a black speckled paint. Both very, very flexible. I have the maroon Jenro racket also. It was the hardest to come by. I really like that Pirelli racket too.
Funny you mention this. I had one of my F300's out on court yesterday. Played like a dream. I gave it to my 18 year old hitting partner who couldn't believe how it felt. In his words - "My racquet gets you the result easier but it feels nothing like this one!"
I took my F250 out to the court last Saturday.Yeah I should take out my Rossi F200.
RT was the solid throat...Kriek used that and the open throat R-40 for a while.I have another Rossignol, an aluminum faced composite (like the Head Arthur Ashe). I've never hit with it though. I'll have to get it out, see what model it is.

It's, ummm....unique?
OK, all you Rossignol lovers, defend this flexible fly swatter!
The stiffer hoop and lighter weight than the F200 make it easier to play with. More power and maneuverability.sorry @mad dog1 - didn't see your post. How did you find your F250 on court last week? I have mine back in Oz with a full bed of VS gut in it. Always found the balance a little odd with the 250.
