https://www.mensjournal.com/health-...session-sacrifice-for-the-love-of-your-sport/ abstain from alcohol, sex, work, early mornings, late nights, hanging with friends, kids events, etc..

I've definitely sacrificed (no drinking, no hanging out, all night driving, dates!, etc...) for first run and powder days (snowboarding).
give up sleep to wake up at 3:30a for a marathon 7a start time
but for tennis... mainly early morning 6:30a start, or very late night playing (end at 1a), which ultimately messes with my sleep

what have you sacrificed?

You forgot to mention your sacrafise to your other great passion , BJJ !!!

No doubt your BJJ trainning has made you super mentally tough for tennis !!!

By the way ... I tried my first MT gym in Vegas this week and did not work out .
Class was utterly grueling cardio and drills but with very little empathize on technique or any teaching
The gym is very famous in Vegas for its MT

I am on to gym 2 on Monday and I found a final gym 3 as a last gym
I am super sore and bruised up and not happy I had to spar on my first class lol
