I've tried about 3 different setups, bab hybrid pro hurricane/conquest, pro hurricane pro/?. And some gamma i forgot. Basically it was supposed to make the racquet powerful but it didnt'. My last resort is to just switch or sell my racquet for a pure drive or something.

Try Technifibre X-1 biphase 17 G or NRG2 17g. I thought APDC was a powerful frame as is. strange that you think it has little power

I have VS 16 in the mains and Pro Hurricane Tour 16 in the cross at 55lbs and I have a bit of problem keeping the ball in the court.

I would probably go with 57 or 59lbs next time I string this setup.

I use the Pro Hurricane (not the tour) 18 gauge. And just starting stringing at 50lbs (use to be 58lbs). I've noticed an increase in power. I break strings a little more often but I like the setup.

maybe i'm just really weak then? Cause I just can't produce the same amount of power on my forehand as i used to with this racquet.

Might be a matter of your technique then? It is a powerful frame, but I wasn't able to generate a lot with it when I first tried it.

PHT is a low powered string with a lot of spin potential... coupled with this racket it could produce even too much spin (leading to a loss of power in the process)? I'm just making guesses here so feel free to disregard it.

As of now try any string other than PHT... Topspin Cyberflash for example - It's cheap and powerful yet pretty spin friendly.
