What would you guess current UTR is for Agassi, Sampras, McEnroe, etc.?

UTR ranks every type of player from juniors to rec to professional, but I noticed the senior tour players are not listed. It would be interesting to see how these retired pros would fare against competition today. Would 59 year old McEnroe be able to beat UTR 13 or 14s which would be around the D1 level? How would Sampras or Agassi do against current futures or challengers level players?

I know this seems low, but my guess based solely on the eye test would be that McEnroe and Borg would be about UTR 12.5 which would make them about average to strong D1 college players.

Sampras and Agassi I would put at UTR 14, making them solid in men's futures events.

What would you guess? Does anyone have any evidence that could give us an accurate guess at where they would stack up?

You can go to this list and look up ITF seniors to try to be close. Sort of hack it by plugging names. https://www.itftennis.com/seniors/rankings/singles-rankings.aspx

The number 1 over 50 for example is Marco Filippeschi. His highest rank was ATP 221 and his UTR is 12.8. https://www.atpworldtour.com/en/players/marco-filippeschi/f176/overview

Right now the number 221 is Antoine Hoang with a UTR of 14.98. The tenth highest UTR right now is Khachanov with 15.64. The first is Ned with 16.26.

So you could probably be safe to add up to a point+ for a top 10 player over Marco's 12.8. For 50 and over of course.

I just choose one name that came up in the ATP rankings and ran with that. No top top players are really on that ranking system. For example McEnroe is easily the best over 55 player and he has zero ITF points

Put a 65 square inch racket in a modern players game and their UTR would drop 7 points

Those are good points. I could see around 14 for Mac being accurate.
