By chance were you at CV with a large group of friends on Sunday?
Sorry I have since migrated to the land of dirt aka the Inland Empire/IE. The last time I was at CV was my last HS season in 98. lol.

I can bring beer. I remember some guys who used to drink beer between games. They seemed really cool at the time but if I saw those same dudes now I'd realize they were living with their moms.Rusty Miller Academy:

BTW, is 35ft6 bringing beer?
I had so much fun today, but wasn't satisfied because I didn't get a chance to hit against 35ft6. You forgot to mention our TTW variation of the King of Hill game, which accomodated 6 players on one court! Good fun though. Thanks everyone!!I'm back from another pleasant day of hitting with TW posters. When I left, Mellofellow and Alpine Cadet were in a battle against Momentum and friend. A lot of serves were broken today btw.
AlpineCadet, you've really improved a lot since I first saw you play.
Mellow is a pretty crafty doubles player. Everybody didn't get a chance to play each other, lets do this again soon someplace where we're not always one cranky person away from getting booted.
Hey MF, great hitting today! (I also owe you a drink!) BTW, when I'm solid enough, I would like to try out for your 4.5 team.Oh yeah... there were some good match ups... really good solid hitters.
BTW, that was not a backhanded compliment. From what I saw, you were playing really solid doubles, just good fundamentals, and it's something I rarely see on public courts even if we played on college courts today. Definitely come out and play some doubles again against my weaksauce serving.Oh yeah... there were some good match ups... really good solid hitters.
Was a pleasure to meet the new folks. And thanks 35, being age and size challenged, crafty has its advantages. Plus I'm probably old school, aim for the shoe laces.
Not to brag, but AC and I were dominating the doubles version king of the hill. A bunch of grown men playing the kind of games that low budget tennis camps make kids play when there are 12 kids on one court. Just sad really. Our feeds were giving opponents fits.I had so much fun today, but wasn't satisfied because I didn't get a chance to hit against 35ft6. Yeah, my bad. I may have gone too far on a few of my feeds. I would hit a shot near the middle of the court to setup a short CC forehand. Sorry guys. At least I didn't give them the LFF ball feeds, those would have earned me some stink-eyes from everyone.
^ I was actually scared playing doubles against you and your friend. I knew you guys could hit big and 2) haven't been playing a lot. So I thought I was going to get hit in the face at some point. And 3) I rarely play doubles so being at the net is sketchy for me.
Really?... I was trying to stick my volleys hard but you were still picking them up off the floor and returning them forcing us the UF error many times. LOL. Good play. We have to play again sometime to make the score at least respectable. LOL.

Seriously, I didn't think it was that weird. Especially since you saw the protein powder in my bag. People always overestimate how strong I am.Okay, but I didn't think it was funny at all. I was serious when I asked it, but didn't mean to startle you with it. Not sure why it's even being talked about.
