Where is the Wilson Pro Staff 6.0 95!?!?!?!?

I am so depressed. I literally just got back into tennis a few months after about a six year lay off. Due to poor form I got some really bad tennis elbow and after not playing and getting my form back on track I'm almost at 100%.

I've been using a Wilson Pro Staff 95 for as long as I can remember. I thought the latest technology would offer me something I would like better and have demoed probably 14 racquets and I still wind up going back to the Pro Staff.

No less than a week ago I noticed tennis warehouse was still selling the Pro Staff and now they are gone!! Does anyone know anywhere else other than the used market where I can find one?

One of the biggest issues I have found moving to another racquet is the Pro Staff's unique handle. If you have ever played with it you know what I'm referring to. It has a great feel and is designed differently than most other modern handles. I sort of get lost with the modern handles. The Pro Staff's is more pronounced even with overgrip. I wonder if there is any way to put a Pro Staff's handle on another racquet...probably not?

Thanks for any guidance.

I was just told by TW that they will no longer be selling this racquet!!

i doubt that, as TW said they will continue to sell the ProStaff classics as long as people buy them.. and I don't see any decrease in demand for them.

I know, personally, I will be buying 2 or 3 when they come back with stock in mid- February.

Here is the e-mail response I received from TW:

Thank you for contacting Tennis Warehouse. Our system shows the racquet is discontinued and sold out, which is why you are unable to order it on our website. We currently do not have an arrival date and are unsure if Wilson will be shipping us anymore. As you might know, the Prostaff 6.0 is an older frame that Wilson made a Tennis Warehouse exclusive. Our buyer stated a while back that we were scheduled to receive more in February, which explains the talk on the message board.
Until we hear from Wilson, we assume the Prostaff 6.0 will no longer be available for sale. If you would like to discuss the matter further feel free to call me at XXX-XXX-XXXX. I apologize for any inconveniences this may cause.

I'm sure I'm violating some kind of forum rules by doing this. I would suggest calling or e-mailing them. I expect you'll get the same response if you are looking for verification.

I've been hearing it around the courts lately that they're discontinued...I'll have to ask my wilson rep the next time I see him

Well, they actually have been "officially" discontinued for many years, so as far as most Wilson reps are concerned, they are in fact discontinued and have been for years. TW only gets them specially made for TW as a "SMU" (Special Make Up), but they have to commit to buying large quantities before Wilson is willing to dust off the old molds to make more of them.
