Who Has the Ugliest Strokes Between Djokovic, Murray, Federer & Nadal?

Out of the 4 most notable players of the last few years, who has the worst looking strokes? You can obviously base your decision on a wholistic scale—focusing on their games as a whole—or on a more scrutinizing sense—perhaps if one part of a player's game is so hideous or difficult to look at, it brings his whole aesthetic below the other three.

Why is Federer even in that list ROFL. Do you want Federer to lose a poll (for once)?

Also there's a difference between your title (ugliest strokes) and thread (ugliest games). For example I don't find Wawrinka's strokes very appealing but I very much like his game.

I voted for Djokovic because he has most extreme grips out of that group and also I don't like his haircut.

not fedr.

"Ugliest" is loaded.

Least aesthetic is probably Nadal to me, because neither his FH or BH are particularly classically smooth. But his forehand is cool nonetheless.

Don't mind ******'s technique, his BH is smooth.

Muzz has a somewhat weird FH, but very nice BH.

Neither of them have ugly strokes. But the one shot that I find the least appealing is the Murray FH, so for that reason my vote goes to him(he has an absolutely gorgeous backhand though).

One has to be impartial. Although the idea of the "Big 4" is laughable and has been since its conception, it's become a recognizable, user friendly grouping over the years. It may feel odd to some to compare three members of the Big 4 without the 4th, unless the missing member is Murray. Then in most cases, it's fittingly acceptable and duly goes unnoticed.

Thanks for the notice about games vs strokes.

Close call between Nadals BH and Murrays 2 serve. Got to give it to Nadal.
Novak use to have ugly floating BH slice but he improved it not only in terms effectiveness but aesthetically, still pretty ugly:D. Also Federer BH shanks used to look horrible, now he somewhat reduced it, but still look ugly when he hits it . And those half volleys in attempt to return 2 serve look ugly as hell to me:D.

In general Nadal whole game strikes me as uglest among these 4. It doesn't mean that his game is not powerful:p

djokovic may have the most effectively balanced baseline game ever. His physicality also allows him to have moments of stroke aesthetics that can make Federer blush.

Although it's probably the most effective shot on tour today, his sliding open stance forehand is not the easiest to look at in stills or in motion.

Djokovic's strokes are unique. Sometimes it's a beautiful thing to be unique, like John Mcenroe's strokes. Sometimes it's a little odd, like Karlovic's strokes. Djokovic's is somewhere in between.

Nadal's backhand stands out as something that looks kinda of awkward and ugly as a stroke. I also think Nadal has the most awkward looking net play, he looks the least comfortable doing it in comparison to the other 3. So my vote goes with Nadal.

Definitely Novak. BH is only stroke that looks alright. Everything else is painful to watch

I don't think any of the Big Four have ugly shots.

Murray´s fh has ugly backswing and Nadal´s fh has ugly finish. Hard to call.

In the meantime, Murray´s bh is so eye_catching, so my vote goes for Nadal.

Fed > Nole > Mur > Nad.

Nadal has the most unconventional game among the big four 4. If you like artistry, Federer's your guy. If you like (modern) textbook strokes, Djokovic is the machine. Murray has very good strokes, more beautiful than Djokovic's but less effective.
