Roger, Rafa and Murray are all very close in the rankings.

Who is going to be first to move?

Will Fed drop back down to #2?

Will Nadal move to #1 or drop to #3 as Murray moves to #2?

Or will Murray fail all expectations and drop back to #4??

Donald Young will assault the top 3 and bump Grigor Dimitrov to number 4, while closing the gap in Marin Cilic and the current number one Sam Querrey

Wait....

Surely if Federer moves to no2, Nadal has also moved to no1. So who would you vote for?

Isn't the poll badly constructed?

Shouldn't the poll question be, 'Who will be next to move out of the top 3 rankings?

I mean e.g If Federer fails to keep his ranking then he will be first to move but if Nadal comes back and wins everything then you would vote for him because from him winning everything he has got himself points which would get him to #1

most probabl Murray swaps places with Nadal
at the USO, there's a chance we could see a new(maybe old) no1
i don't think it can happen before that

Federer, the points he will have to defend from now on is quite substantial.

Really? I recall Federer doing pretty bad during last years US Open series. He has like 30 points to defend in Montreal and Cincinatti. The only substantial tourny I see him needing to defend is the US Open. I see Nadal's position being usurped by Murray. from here on till the US Open, it'll be Murray and Nadal fighting for the #2 spot.

incorrect, nadal and murray are defending the most, and federer is no.1 for at least until the us open, check atp they have a whole article on this.

You do realize that i was only speaking about the slams?? :(

1) Federer 11,200 10 150 200 2000
2) Nadal 10,735 1000 450 800 900
3) Murray 9,700 450 1000 10 1400

these are the total points now, and then toronto, cinci, olympics, and us open. Nadal has 3150 (w/ olympics) and murray is 2860 (w/olympics) Federer has 2360 to defend (w/ olympics)

Federer ain't playing Montreal...

federer isn't gonna lose many ranking points from montreal, therefore, his raking points will basically stay the same. Murray and nadal are both defending AMS shields in the comming weeks, tough to answer

He isn't playing Montreal but he has nothing to defend there.

Nadal meanwhile has the title to defend coming off of an injury and having not played for two months. I highly doubt he does it.

I'd say Murray and Roddick are the two top contenders for Montreal, and if Murray wins he'll pass Nadal at number 2.
