All in all, the world is sooooo past this nonsense it's just laughable for the AO and USTA to be holding fast.

And another thing that so many Djokovic fans never seem to get. It's not the Australian Open, Tennis Australia, the US Open or the USTA that have banned Djokovic. Djokovic doesn't meet the requirement for entry into the USA because he's an unvaccinated foreigner. And Djokovic got deported from Australia and refused to leave before he was forcibly deported, which usually means a 3-year ban before possible re-entry into Australia.

The fact is, Djokovic has a choice to make. Get vaccinated and meet the requirement for entry, or stay away out of principle. Instead, he seems to expect the law to be changed for him personally. A lot of his fans certainly do.

The vaccine does nothing to stop the spread of covid. It just makes you less ill if you get covid. So why should unvaccinated people not be allowed to enter the country? Makes zero sense.
