Why does a 8pt HH racquet feel LESS 'top heavy' then a 3pt HL racquet
Sorry, what I meant to say was why does a HH racquet feel LESS top heavy then a HL racquet?
Please review the following stats:
1) Wilson Hyper Hammer 5.3 OS
8 pt. Head Heavy
301 swing weight
9oz. strung weight
2) Head LM Radical OS
3 pt. Head Light
330 swing weight
11.2oz. strung weight
I've owned the Wilson for a few years now. After visiting a local sporting goods store looking to purchase a new racquet, I picked up the Head LM Radical. I was surprised to feel that the Head felt MUCH more 'Top Heavy' as compared to my Wilson. I always thought going by the above stats, that the lighter, or "head light" a racquet is 'less' top heavy. My Wilson stats say 8pts. HH, as compared to the Head's 3pts. HL, shouldn't the Wilson feel more top heavy when swinging? Would it be true to say if you had two different racquets with the same swing weight, then, and only then, could you compare HH and HL? I'm confused. Please help. Thank you, in advance, to all that reply.
