Is it time we saw Fernando Verdasco in the later stages of a slam again?

Potentially his best surface in Aus and also he has good memories from his run in 2009. Surely he could make the 4th round/QF?

heck, i was even proud of the guy for pushing rafa so hard that I really thought Feds could take out a softened Nadal the next day.


All the more reason that '09 AO loss really shocked and resonated with Fed fans.

There's just no reason he should've dropped a major final to Nads on a hard court surface.
