Hi

Has anyone tried the Wilson BLX Tour 90 Asian version?
I know that the weight is approx. 11.3 oz (unstrung) w/ lower swing weight.

I own an Asian ver. of old Wilson Pro Staff 6.1, bought in Japan in 80's
so I know these rackets are legit.

Wondering how people liked it, in terms of maneuverability and serve.

Also has anyone bought from this site in China?

It has some unbelievable price but never heard of it.

Thanks very much,

I buy all of my gear from this site. The prices and service are very good and they do custom grommet scallopping which is hard to find these days.

Hi JoelDali

So you bought rackets from that website?
How was the shipping to North America? assuming you live in N. America.

What's grommet scalloping?

thanks a lot

I bought one BLX 6.1 tour Asian version from 100yeartrade. the seller say that is OEM racquet. when i recieved it, it looks amazing compare to the real one. everything is the same. i didnt try it yet because i wonder how it feel when i actually play with it. so do u think we can play with an OEM racquet ? btw, im waiting for another 6.1 Japan version from an authorized dealer from hong kong. the second one must be authentic and real. will post some pics to share with you guys about the 2 racquets.

I purcahsed my one direct from Tennis Town Hong Kong (Online) completely legit and the ABLX90's are absolutley genuine. You will pay the same as a US version! These definetley play easier than the US versions but due to the lower swing weight they feel less solid compared to the US version. On the other hand you can get these sticks moving pretty quickly and thereby compensate for the lower swing weight and to a degree replicate that heavy plow thru which is evident in the US version by generating easy head speed with the Asian. But if you could generate head speed with the US then of course this would be a better stick becasue you get pace and a heavy plow thru! Also the US version is more stable on volleys than the ABLX90. Overall I still like the ABLX90's even though I have recently bought the new Donnay X-Dual Platinum 94 which I find sits somewhere between the US BLX90 and ABLX90...so I'm getting the best of both worlds right now! If you do decide to go ahead with the ABLX90's don't hesitate to PM me to discuss anything.

Don't buy here, looks fake, real blx 90 Asian version costs 1200 HKD (154 USD) in Hong Kong.

I play with A-Blx 90 with minor customization (lead in the 12 o'clock and in the handle). It is a very good racquet and fits my games well.

The web site posted above most likely sell fake racquets.
