Wilson KTour Nishikori's and Henin's (Htour, Ntour 2, Hammer 5.3)

so people have stated that Henin uses a Hammer 5.3 (with powerholes) underneath her Ktour paintjob. it was a 27.5" racquet.

the 5.3 is available on TW still, but I think reading the reviews of the Ntour and Ktour she actually is using the Hammer 5.2. that 5.3 is crazy...75 stiffness.

People have speculated that Nishikori uses an Ntour-2 racquet with the Ktour paintjob. also that he may use a 28" racquet from the looks of it (I don't see how you guys can tell).

when I first bought my demo model of othe Ntour-2, it had some dead and fraying Wilson NXT strings (white...so it may have been NXT tour, but it only said Wilson NXT). I LOVED IT.... when rallying against heavier hitters, it could have used a little lead somewhere (i tried 3 and 9 with some success).

I love how fast i can swing this lightweight racquet...I could really rip at the ball and hit great groundstrokes with it.

My question is...how do you think Nishikori and Henin have it customized? Obviously they're not using a 10.6oz racquet... what do you think the balance is? How much added weight--and where?

for those of you who have any of these racquets what have you done to yours to make it optimal to fit your game?

he used to use the Ntour 2... but i remember seeing a customized racquet for him (on the bay i think)...of a K6.1 TEAM with Kei in cursive on the side. interesting..

henin's weight could be 11.5 oz, even balance so lead is under bumper guard and grip with equal amount.
nishikori's could be up at 12 oz or more, his setup might be like djokovic, but a bit more lead on the grip to make it 2-4 pts headlight.

man, i saw the Ktour in person today...i was very tempted to buy it....lol. and sell my Prestige Pro which seems to be too heavy for me especially with my still injured wrist...and it seems to be giving me tennis elbow................. :-/ and i'm using NXT strings at 58lbs too...i think the stringbed is a little too dense or something and the flex is around 63 so getting close to my 64-65 threshold for tennis elbow

so jura confirmed that it was a 5.3 and not the 5.2 that she uses. ugh... not even close specs.

on the bright side you can buy the racquet Henin is using right now...on TW. it's an arm killer though..

they are not the same racquet hyogen...

the 5.3 Henin uses and customizes, is the EURO edition which had powerholes.
the TW usa version has normal grommets.

I remember those this british guy in my club has like 6 of one of the hammer series with power holes. He told me when he came to canada and he wanted to buy more of the same racquet the racquets didnt have power holes so when he went back to England in the summer he bought like 6. They're strung with gut all six. i guess it's worth it.

I hit with one of those i demoed it when i went to europe in england. they were a bit to stiff for me but its irreplaceable.
