Wilson Ncode Ntour or Ntour two?

Hey, I am looking for a new racquet to use and I was hitting pretty well with the Ncode Ntour. After looking around on the internet for the cheapest price Ntour i realized theres 2 different models. Is there a big difference between the two? and should i dish out the extra 25-35$ for the Ntour two? I just started playing tennis around after about 4 yrs of not playing. I am looking to upgrade from my wilson hyper carbon prostaff 6.5. Any input will be greatly appreciated.

nTour Two has the foam throughout the frame, giving it more of a dampened feel. I've never hit with the nTour, but the Two is a nice control oriented racquet. If you have any arm problems or prior history with TE, might want to give the Two some consideration.

btw - If you decide to go with the Two, I have a used one for sale in the Classifieds.

I like them both (3 nTour an 2 nTour Two), but I feel more comfortable with the Two. As soon as I can unload some other racquets, I'll be trying to scoop up more of the Two and m-Fil 400.

FYI, the new '09 Wilson catalog has the NTour Two MP in the "Strung Performance Value" racquet section. That should mean that it will be available for CHEAP!!

Can you share the 2009 Wilson catalogue with us?

By the way, I own the nTour nCode 2, and it is a great racquet... I recommend buying it.

In the past month, I've had the opportunity to hit with the nCode nTour, the kTour, and tonight, the nTour Two.

I really liked all of them, but to me, the nTour Two and the kTour felt the most similiar.

And was that similarity a good similarity?

Yes, absolutely! Though, my new k-tour arrived this week, and after stringing it up with my regular string (k-gut 17), I would have to give the slight nod to the k-tour. I wouldn't mind having an ntour two in the bag, but they are so hard to find! I'm a bit nervous about purchasing from the 'bay.

The nTour Two I hit with had prince synthetic gut with duraflex 16, and it felt really good, as well.

The things I really like about all three racquets was their versatility and just the comfort of the feel for me.

I cracked one of my nTour Twos a while back, but my friend liked it anyway and kept it (he bought a nTour later but I would have advised him to buy the Two). Last night I sold my other nTour Two to a friend as he's liked it after a few hit arounds. He actually played fairly well with it, despite him being a pusher.

After playing my morning clinic today, some guy (a Wilson rep possibly?) came in with the Strung Performance Value racquets to hang in the display case! And yes, there it was...the nTour Two, even in my grip size! :) The guy said the racquet will be easily available now!

I'm playing with the kTour and enjoying it a lot, and purchased two, but I'm tempted just to pick up one nTour Two just to have.

There were three other racquets in the section...one was the kZen, and I can't remember the other two! One was a player's racquet, the other a light OS.

The ntour has more classic feel than the ntour two. If you're more of an 'old school' player, get the ntour. If you like a more dampened feel, get the ntour two. Personally, I like the ntour since I can 'feel' the ball more.
