Anyone have any reviews on the Wilson ProStaff ROK 102? It looks like a really nice midplus racquet, great specs, but I havent found much info on it. Thanks.

The ROK 102 lacks the charm of the ROK 93, in my view. There is a family resemblance in the way the frame is firm, but flexible, but there are more differences than similarities. Easier spin, less control and stability. Having said that, it is not a bad design and if you like the specs, try it out.

I used to use one several months ago. Nice spin and sufficient power, quite a bit unstable for groundies maybe due to its light weight. Good at directional control and crisp, stable volley. IMO, overall a good racquet, especially if you add about 9g of lead under the handle.

If you want a ROK, get the original :p I haven't used the 102, but I've used the 93 extensively, but I'll I've heard about the 102 is that it is not anythign like the 93.

Thanks for the info. I wanted to try it, but I couldn't find any demos anywhere and I can't buy a racquet without first demoing it.

Reviving this old thread. Anyone know what is its twist weight? Or at least able to provide insight on its stability?
