Wozniaki at the Murray Semifinal match-- What has she learned from this match ?

Ok from the TV announcers, Wozniaki was at the Murray Semis watching in the Friends box, no less, to learn what she can do to be a champion herself and not lose in the semi and finals of majors. so What has Woz learned ? Probably if anything, it is that She needs to be more Aggressive when losing a match by pushing the ball. As Murray said in the interview, he changed Tactics in the 2nd sets, and became much more aggressive and changed tension on his racket.

I hope she learned that she had better put some pop in her game.

I like Wozza but watching her get trashed by Li Na was hard. Wozza just laid up too many loopy and slow groundstrokes and that is not going to cut it.

Kinda like when Jankovic made her run. That style of play works for a while and then once your opponents play you a few times and get used to it they will blow you off the court. Not to mention that style puts a beating on your body from running around so much.

She'd better change something before she wears her body out.

I think Wozniacki could learn some things about not folding when you are ahead.
Murray took the bull by the horns in the 4th set tiebreaker, and simply dominated.
Wozniacki owned Li Na and had a match point. She folded at that point. Up to the match point, Li Na looked like a 3.5 male, hitting every other shot wide or long. Wozniacki choked, and let her in the match.
Murray did not choke, Murray stepped up his play and closed out his worthy opponent - emphatically.

I would hope she learned then she can still play the defensive style she has but that she needs to infuse some real offense into her game (winning like 100 points in a match but only 10 winners, your prob not getting a major that way). Granted, Murray hasn't won a Major either but he has come a lot closer then she has and if not for Fed he might have one. But seeing as when she tries to get offensive even a little bit she does nothing but commit errors half the time, she needs to do a lot of work.

But in the long term she has been watching Murray for a while hasn't she? Nothing really seems to be sinking in so far...
