Yonex question: To drop 5% for crosses or not?

Questions for the stringing professionals out there: Should I drop the tension in the crosses by 5% in my RDX 500 MP? Or does Yonex not recommend it?

I do generally drop the tension 5% on crosses if it's not a hybrid. If it's a hybrid it depends on which is the stiffer of the two strings. In many cases it's the mains, so I string those both at the lower tension. For other combinations you can adjust accordingly.

Hmmm...I don't understand. You drop the crosses 5% on a one piece string job? I can see doing that on a two piece string job. Wouldn't you loose tension over string bed tension if you drop the crosses on a one piece string job? In other words, the string bed will equalize to a lower tension.

This is why Yonex recomends 5% lower tension on the crosses because they also recommend two piece string job.
