Yonex: RD Power 10 Long 95

I had this stashed in my closet for a year, have not really had to chance to play it since I got it. I was too pre-occupied playing the RDS001 mid at that time, then came RDis 100 93.
I decided to take it out for a match before outdoor season ends. First few minutes was a little strange, I need to get adjusted to the added .5 inch length and lighter sw. Once I found the groove - the RD Power 10 Long delivers.
Serve - lots of pop and easy to control where to hit my serves.
SW - lighter than the RDiS. allowed me to whip the ball especially when you want to attack the shot.
The added length gives you that extra amp and reach when stretched.

I played the RD in a doubles match - against a 4.0 player whose a heavy hitter. I thought I was going to get ran over but instead the RD held on its own. It withstood the punishing shot delivered by the opponent's Babolat Aero Drive. I enjoyed the lighter sw which allows me to drive my shots with alot of pace.

The only down side is looking for a replacement grommet; the throat grommet is known to be brittle and snapped. I am just glad I have found found this great treasure.
