Let's say, you're an English but your favorite is Federer. Who do you support in a Federer - Murray match???

As a Croat, I supported Rafter over Goran in WIM 01 Final.
If Final was Rafter vs Ljubicic or Rafter vs Karlovic, it would be 50-50 call.

When is Federer vs Karlovic or Federer vs Coric, it depends on situation. Mostly I prefer Croats, but if that was Monte Carlo or Rome Final I'm on Federer side.

That being said, I was rooting for Federer over Cilic at WIM 17, but I was rooting for Cilic over Federer at AO 18 because Cilic was better player most of the match. But, hes Cilic so you know hes gonna find a way to lose.

Sorry to say, but this is not opinion it is fact , Davis Cup, atp cup is added into country column and so as Olympics medal .
Slams are added into players column, tennis is not different than badminton or other individuals sports, this is how things work in every individual sport.
Whether you want to support your country or not in Olympics or Davis cup that your choice
