If you are free for 5-10 hours you should definitely spend them enjoying the match of the tournament. To acquire a taste for what to expect you can check out the video below.

Truly mesmerizing. Isner/Mahut better watch out for their record.

H2H is 3-1 in favour of Simon.

    Try no.

There will be nice rallies but monfils is to aggressive right now. With Simon hitting a lot of sitters monfils can rip winners with ease

His serve is to big, hopefully he gets it better and better every match like he has been.

And the courts are way faster than Simon can handle with a big hitter.

If monfils goes out there and plays like he's supposed he can win in straight sets. But we all know he makes it are on himself.

I say monfils wins in 4 sets

As much as I like them individually, this match is a sure way to get some sleep if you have insomnia.

The best moment of their match at the AO a few years ago was when play was stopped because of some fireworks or something.

That match was legendarily bad and boring. I look forward to the sequel. It was like watching them practice.

To be honest it could end up being amazing if Monfils is aggressive and Simon is at his counter punching best.

I associate that with any Giles Simon matches as far as television and entertainment purposes go.

hahaha gotta love simon. he is so nasty in those cat and mouse type points. monfils should not be trying to out push or out maneuver simon. he needs to over power him

I've learned to appreciate his brand of tennis over the years. He's a very clean ball striker.

According to Wiki, the longest rally was 643 shots and lasted 29 minutes! (also featured in the longest women's match of all time).

If any two current players wanted to beat that record, it would be Gilles and Gael. Meanwhile, their countryman Tsonga would go for a winner after three shots. Gotta love the French. :)

The only time Simon looks like he's gonna win in straights, is the time I put $$$ on this match to go to 4+ sets. Cheers.

Simon is wearing down..though Monfils could still clown his way to a straight set loss even against a cramping Simon.

It'd be kinda funny if Monfils won by Simon retiring. He drama'd his way into winning his last match and it would continue his wacky journey through AO2013.

Monfils letting Simon dictate the points with 130 kph serves and a bunch of no pace shots down the middle..good lord.

Andy Murray, after complimenting Monfils as perhaps the best athlete to ever play the game, said his funky shot selection makes him interesting to watch.

Love Monfils, but he should put out a tip jar before his match because his clown antics to entertain the crowd are costing him prize money. :)
