Thanks for the tip, but I never buy new sticks. I'd rather wait a few years and then pick them up at the discounted price.
The weight is shown as 11.2 ounces on some of the more reputable sites and 10.4 ounces on a few others. The balance also is different depending where you look. If it is only 10.4 ounces, then that is not what I'm looking for. I want to get at least an ounce heavier than what I'm using now.
Mikeler your welcome on the strings.RyanGoring,
Got the strings today. Thanks a bunch. I'll be using a set tonight since I broke a string this morning.
But did you spank the little whipper snapper, and told him to respect gig elders?had a windy session with coyfish. dude had me running more than i like...no respect for their elders.

whipper snapper . . . gave me a good laugh there. Havent heard that term in a while.
Damn, I wish it was all just about having muscles..lol.
haha..then id be screwed at this point. Tennis burnt off about all my remaining BF.
I have dialed in my setup i think..I am probably going to use Sonic Pro strings and I got 2 Radicals so far. So I am ready to hit and get this going at OTC. I have played the same guys so much that I know about everything that is coming from them. I need some more heavy hitters to bang with. I guess it will boil down to scheduling..I have been slammed the past few weeks.
Yeah. I got one guy up here who is, but he doesnt come up enough. He hits hard as hell from both wings, and it's good practice for me because his strike zone is right where my typical ball kicks to. I credit the guy for helping me get the ability to flatten out my forehands when I need to.
Weird part is I was talking to frank and dropping off a racquet when the guy was shooting people right across I4 from me. I drove back to my office and saw cops flying around and did not think anything of it.
Then I was Downtown at lunch and saw the reports..it was freaky because we thought there were multiple shooters and they were not caught. So now im in my office and we can't leave..crazy.
oh thats awesome..thanks..bookmarked it.
WHAT?! :shock:The Gosen 17 lasted 14 games for me today before it broke in 2 places! I plan on sticking with my Gamma synthetic gut 16 for now.
WHAT?!
At what tension did you have it strung at? And in 2 places.
^^^ Hmmmm? He bit the strings after losing the 14 games????
lol

Yeah same here with the spin. It kills everything but poly.
Let us know how long that gamma lasts for you.
remember the Tazmanian Devil cartoon character?
Possibly the best cartoon character ever.
quite the spin master that devil.
Not Today - lost to Jolly 4-6, 7-5 (10-7) in the tiebreaker.
He is a hell of a matchup for me. His serve to the add side kicks up over my head, and he pulls it out wide. I rarely get a good swing at it - most of the time just getting it back in play. It was very windy and both of us had problems with serves. The first set was very tight 4-4, and I held serve, up 5-4 and broke him for the set. He got up 4-0 in the second and i came back to 4-4. I was serving add in and did not get it done. Hom winning 7-5. He got up early 6-3 in the tiebreaker. I got to 6-7 but he won.
The next one is a designated down in Naples on the 12/5 - but I dont think I will make it. I want to, but that is the night of the SEC Championship game and we usually have many people over for the game. I'm not sure my wife is going to let me go - since I might jinx the Gators. We are still talking about it. Next tourney will probably be the Citrus Open at the OTC.
I have to correct you, it is the Citrus Classic. For those interested, it is a non-USTA event so no points will be collected for wins. The Club division prize is a free 1 year membership for members and a 6 month membership for non-members.
cool...didn't know there was a decent club prize. these windy days have had me tweaking my serve for more consistency.
