I need your help!

After going through many racquets from many different brands, I have finally decided to give Yonex a try. The two racquets I'm looking at are the RDS 001 MID and the RDX 500 mid.

Both of them look like they will suit my game well.

I just want to know:

Which is better for long baseline rallies?

Better at the net?

More stable?

etc.

I also want to know, which one has more of an old-school feel (buttery, POG like).

I prefer the RDS, it's a bit stiffer, which is what I want in a racquet.

Oh right, other than that they are very similar, you HAVE to try them to tell the difference IMHO.

rdx500

has more of an old school feel if the reviews are anything to go by, it's more flexible than the rds.

I also think the rdx500 is more forgiving on off center hits while the rds 001 has more power, both racquets have been reviewed and both racquets have gotten good scores, take a ,look at both.

that said, yonex is the real deal, great racquets and the isometric head shape and shaft design really do work and it isn't marketing bs.

I didn't really play the 500 in extent but I liked it. I demoed the RDS 001 for 2 weeks, and in the end picked the Wilson N6.1 95 and Fisher M. Speed Pro. #1 98. 001 was way to stiff for me and the guy that I was playing with tried them and he thought the same.

RDX 500 mid is the best frame to play with after the PS 85.
