TW; Tecnifibre X-One Biphase 18 String

Tecnifibre's International web site says that X-One Biphase is, now, available in natural and red colors. However, they don't mention the gauge 18 as available, in any colors. On the other hand, Tecnifibre's USA web site does mention the gauge 18 as available. Nevertheless, the only color, any of the gauges are offered in, is natural. Could you, please, ask Tecnifibre if X-One Biphase 18 is available in red? Thank you.

We checked with Tecnifibre USA, who provided this information: "Tecnifibre X-One Biphase 18 Natural is only available in the USA. We have developed a loyal following for both the X-One Biphase 18 and NRG2 18 for the USA Market. Tecnifibre X-One Biphase 17 and 16 Red will be available to the USA in January 2007, but Tecnifibre has not planned to offer the X-One Biphase 18 Red for International or USA." Perfect answer. Nothing else to ask. Thanks!

PS: I'll be ordering from you some of that red X-One Biphase!

Alright! the first colored multifilament.

More or less. Babolat has been offering Xcell half sets in what they say is orange, but it's really just a darker natural color. So, I agree this has to be the first colored multi. Hopefully, it will start a trend ;)

actually, not true. TF used to do their 515 in various neon colours, Babolat had a gold metallic VX, Wilson did various colours for Sensation, and there were a few others, but right now memory is not serving me the way I'd like it to.

Really? I didn't know that. Why would they stop making them? Hummm, maybe, it's the younger people who buy the colored strings and younger people don't seem to use multis. Oh well, I guess, depending on if the red X-One Biphase does well, more colored multis will appear.
