It's March, it's college hoops....baby

That time of the year in usa usa usa where every sentence should be spoken in an annoying Dick Vitale loud voice and most sentences end using the word baby. Who is your early pick baby? Seems like a lot of parity this year with about 8 teams with a good shot of winning the big one baby. It's going to be madness baby.

Gr8 OP baby!

I got a diaper dandy baby taking UCLA into April, baby. He's betterer than Chef Curry already according to one that raised him from a baby, baby!

Lonzo shot is not as good as Curry's. Lonzo is taller and more athletic in my book, but he has a horrible shooting motion and cant shot off the dribble as well as Curry. Steve Nash was real at that also they dribble seamlessly went right into the shot. Lonzo has a pause that is noticeable. You see him stop the driblle and start the shot. If he don't change that he wont be as dynamic of scorer in the NBA.

Tournety should be pretty good though. No real juggernauts. Conzaga has a legit chance to go the final 4.

Gus Johnson > dick vitale. It's a shame he doesn't call tournament games anymore. HEART BREAK CITY

Without a bracket I'd go with Kansas ucla nova unc final four Kansas ucla final Kansas winning. There's not dominant team and it's gonna depend on matchups but these are the four best teams imo

Yea, I miss Gus. Still watch the you tube clips from time to time. Some time he gets so excited he doesnt know what to says and just gives to real quick laughs. Then other times he goes ballistic until he almost faints.

Amen. It's broken. You should be able to dribble hard straight up into your shot motion smoothly if you are gonna be like Curry, Lillard, Durant, etc. He can't, and won't be able to unless he fixes that broken motion

Dell is a betterer dad than Lavar Ball...doesn't talk the trash bcoz he doesn't need to. Lonzo will do well in the association but 2-time MVP comparisons are all in Daddy Ball's head. He will be a better defender though.

Agreed. The only thing curry does on D worth anything is that he pretty good at reading passing lines and getting a few steals/tips.

lol I know exactly what you mean. He'll just start yelling cuz he has no clue what to say since he's so excited "AFFLALO RAVIO MOOORRRISSSSOOOONNNNNN AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

He still does PAC 12 cfb games for fox but they're not as exciting since there's a lot less action and none of it is continuous

Everyone is touting Lonzo as the best college assists guy since Jason Kidd. It will be interesting to see if he or Ben Simmons reach that level.

As to his awkward shooting technique, all I'll say is one name and ask if it worked for him, why not for Ball...Jamaal Wilkes.

Silk Wilkes...now that's a blast from the past! I've seen a few mock drafts saying the Lakers will pass on Ball if available...no way!! A definite hitch in the shot but he's a pass first guard that passes very well, plays good D, makes his teammates better and an LA story. What else could the Lakers ask for?

Silk was one David Thompson all-world SF performance away from winning 3 NCAA titles in a row and then moving on to NBA ROY and member of the GSW association champions...like Magic moving from Sparty to LAL for the two-level exacta.

Magic still gets all the glory for the title clinching switch to center vs Phila in '80 but LAL doesn't win that game without a Silky 37/10 contribution. I'm also sure he had a hand in the Doctor's face a few times to hold him to 27 that night.

Best quote from John Wooden about the ideal college player: "I would have the player be a good student, polite, courteous, a good team player, a good defensive player and rebounder, a good inside player and outside shooter. Why not just take Jamaal Wilkes and let it go at that."

The wild thing about Wilkes...it took from 1985 when he retired until 2012 to gain induction into the Naismith HOF...a 2x NCAA and 4x NBA champion. I hope TO could be that patient to wait for Canton to call!

They only keep their pick if it's top 3 so one of Tatum Jackson or Isaac will be available. They already committed to clarkson and Russell so putting another forward next to Ingram and randle makes more sense than drafting another pg

Magic will take Ball and worry about the rest later. He's not showing up at all these UCLA games for nothing.
