His greatest record.
He has a lot of great records! I personally think Aussie accomplishment probably the biggest since no one has won 3 in a row in Open Tennis history!

ObviouslyHis greatest record.
No doubt about it.4 slams in a row, including three different surfaces, is probably his greatest record
No doubt about it.
It's just that haters don't like talking about it, as no one else has ever done it.

Lendl only takes on players he knows have future slam potential!
Seriously, why would Lendl take on BagofBonesovic?
Can't imagine Ivan tolerating for a second any interference from the likes of Pepe or any of Novak's family!
Exactly! Can you imagine Lendl having to consort with all of those artsy-fartsy/philosophical types with their heads in the clouds? It's hilarious to even think about it.
Lendl is a no-nonsense guy and so is Andy Murray. That's why that partnership worked.
I can't imagine anyone famous in tennis world and worried about their reputation wanting to associate with those types, they just have no place in pro sports. Agassi was probably the closest to that line of thinking and he bailed too.
Until/if Novak gets straightened out don't think he'll have such an easy time finding a coach despite his amazing tennis legacy.
Muy feelings...We have started a new Earth's Mightiest Warrior Group Chat - This time though, we can get 20 in.

I’d take Lendlvery wise decision. it is time to hire Ivan Lendl and get back to #1 in no time.
Me too, but I am afraid that is not going to happen. Hopefully, I am wrong.I hope Novak can get back to his best soon.
I’d love to see Novak win a couple more slams before he calls it quits.
Yeah it’s looking that wayMe too, but I am afraid that is not going to happen. Hopefully, I am wrong.

Not sure if you take Fedr/Mury fans but I quite like Novak so if you’re feeling generous for members then I’d happily joinYou want in?
True, but Roger and Rafa looked healthy when they returned, though they may have been a bit rusty. Novak, however, does not look healthy and in the past two matches he lost, he declined more and more as the match went on as he appeared to run out of gas after the first set. Also, he does not look healthy, almost gaunt.I have faith. So many people so the same about Federer and Nadal and look what happened.

So does this mean Ivan Lendl?
NO.....dJOKOVIC!!!!!!! Life has a lot more to offer more apart from Tennis. That's too soon
Djokovic at Saltadero de Cabrera.
Hope that's not a metaphor for his career!
He's enjoying himself. He's had his entire life focused solely on tennis and has achieved greatness in the sport. He has a future filled with countless options. I think his fans are the ones who aren't coping well with this change in Djokovic. Djokovic looks content and seems to be enjoying life.

Djokovic doesn't have anything left to prove to anybody as far as his tennis career goes and he could retire tomorrow with his reputation as one of the ATGs of tennis fully intact. It's just that he himself says he wants to go on playing and still aims to get back to his best.
Djokovic's announcement was, in its way, a lot classier than Agassi's, who has a history of passive-aggressive behavior like "we agreed to disagree too often." Good riddance I say.
Honestly I don't think they spent enough time working together for any real judgments to be made. Djoker's injury basically ended this partnership before it could take off. Obviously they had some disagreements on things Agassi envisioned implementing. Until we get those details we cannot make any judgments one way or the other.agreed. not only was the guy never in the coach's box, but despite his player being in a tailspin for the better part of two years, he was virtually invisible. on top of that, as you rightly pointed out, he couldn't even craft a magnanimous parting statement. I like Agassi but if you've read his book and know anything about the guy, Planet Agassi will always have a population of one.
He seems a bit rudderless atm.
Yeah and the reason behind that difference is , he's got Pepe but his fans haven't got Pepe. He's enjoying himself.
