if chrysochos wins tomorrow, it really doesn't matter. playing #2 didn't hurt him at all. plus these European guys, it really doesn't matter to them if they win the NCAA singles title or not. They just don't care unless it gets them wildcard to the major. if Tom won, he would have gotten the wildcard and it would have meant a lot to him
It the WC meant so much to Tom why'd he lose in the first round? Come on man, stop defending players that are not asking for your help. Trust me, your comments are not helping them.

Good luck to Tom post college in whatever he does.

i didn't say gojo isn't a good player (other than his eyesight). i'm just saying that i'll take petros to win a match over gojo.
Borges, should he pull this match off, is more than capable of beating Petros.

Man, I know I'm late on this, but I just Gojo's call from yesterday. I know there are a ton of cheaters in the college game, but is anybody worse than this guy?

Gojo wins the third 6-2. Wake vs Wake final. Pulling for Petros here, he's definitely the cleaner play in terms of reputation and I feel like he deserves it after such a great season at line 2.

How in the world did Gojo come back in that match against the #3 player in the country with line judges all over the court? Maybe he's just really good...
Good or not, he’s an obvious cheater who ought to be embarrassed he’s been so clearly caught.

Thanks, and right back at you, UVA players weren’t often on my list of college players that made routinely bad line calls

It's usually easy to dislike a successful sports dynasty for whatever reason but the Virginia players certainly made it difficult to pull against UVA. Singh, Devvarman, Domijan, Jenkins, Frank etc were nothing but class in their years playing college tennis as were most of the UVA players. TSK and Altamirano were the only ones who were a bit more abrasive on court.

Too bad neither of them is going to get the WC to US open

It seems that college tennis is now dominated by European players, like in the pros... It's too bad they cannot get the wildcard to the US Open. I'm not sure what the rule is, but why not? They've been playing for the team and competing like everyone else, so why not get the wildcard?

Likely because if the WC does not go to a American college player, the USTA/USOPEN will still give that spot to another American player.

I agree, or 2 or 3 wildcard into ATP tour events as a substitute. I think for the US open, USTA would like to give the wildcard to American players, since they would like to use the US open to grow and nurture American talent.

Taylor Fritz complaining about all the bad calls going on in NCAA tennis. This is the ball Gojo called out against Blumberg on crucial point. Gojo is running back to cover this lob from Blumberg.

Ok so is this exactly when the ball landed or was the ball still in flight ??????????? can you really tell ? and That was on Crucial point, playing for all the marbles, trying to get into the Final to win the NCAA singles crown. How many times have we seen Adults cheating in USTA playoffs and Nationals, Playing for Nothing...................

This is the BEST match the Bruins have put out in NCAA championship.... Redlicki and Evan Zhu should get the WC to the US open doubles.....

this evan Zhu is very impressive,, only a Sophomore but plays Big like a big man, but skinny guy. He is also mentally very very tough.

what are you talking about? he's a weak #2 for a top 5 rated team and typically lost his court against good teams all year. do you purposefully say stuff that is wrong just to get attention? of course you do.

Honestly, I never saw TSK get angry without cause.
