I don't have the Ultra Tour. Tried it and felt it was comfy but needed lead. Stuck with my Phantom 100 with ports because it was even more comfortable and I was recovering from TE at the time.

Right now I use the Phantom 93P and that's my favourite of the Phantoms. Its not as comfy as a Phantom 100 but more precise and better stability and balance. Great doubles frame. The ultra tour is not quite at that level of control IMO.

I have the Phantom 100 with ports and the Pro 93P. I have hit the Pro 100P and its a nice frame as well. Little less control and stability compared to the 93P but more spin, forgiveness and comfort. Little less comfort and spin than the ported 100, but a bit more control and feel. My friend that owns the Pro 100P really likes it and plays noticeably better with it than his old Head Radical.

Not all Prince rackets use this. It's seen in the Phantom 100, Beast O3 98, 100 and 104 and the Premier line. Not everyone likes the muted feel these ports offer but most everyone agrees that it is arm friendly.

Thanks. So in the end, due to wrist injury, I cannot do much or no spin (or sometimes have hard time returning low balls if I don't use slice) with my current racket. Considering this, and considering I'm a heavy player and who also usually plays with spin players where I recieve fast balls-but for the matches I need balance/control/and high swing weight as for using for volleys/slices/sitter balls - Would I find phantom 100 hard to get used to after a tweener racket with 69 stiffness?

I wouldn’t think so. You will just have to get used to the softer feel, which will only be brief, imo. Everyone is different, so you might have to just go for it and try for yourself.

I went from a PD+ to a Phantom 100 and had no problem adjusting. Hardest thing was the serve. Getting that dialed in took some time.

Prince EXO3 Tour - the ports, the thermo plastic inserts, the 52 RA, the mass and the headlight balance got me back into tennis after 2 years out with TE.

Agree with above comments about the Prince Rackets. The old Ported Tour 100s were fantastic as well. And of course, the glorious POG.

I aslo remind a snauwaert racquet that was very interesting

1 head club pro ra 32 -38 RA
2 head team pro ( black and silver model

Variances in RA are due to how old and they have been played / restrung ..
I mod all mine to make them flexed out as humanly possible without hurting them to break prematurely . Trouble spots on these are some have thin walls . Team pro and se editions are really thin walled . So be careful not to string to tight or the string channel will cave in.
As for the 102 mid plus brothers of all these

Head comp master / se pro master ra 33 to 39
I was shocked when I started compiling the Ra s on these and even more shocked to know that the masters series are even more flexible..
As for me when I start getting to be to old to use the 89.5 midsize .
I’ll just move up to the masters series of these frames . Man
Head was far and away the best for giving us simple frames with low RA . And they got it down to that all the grommets are interchangeable as well!
Except the 102 series ?? Anyone know if you can still find replacement grommets for the graphite masters series ?
I’m pretty sure the pallets are different from the pro series to the master series ?

I use 3 difdegnt heads same mold same lay up too maybe the club is maybe 1 or 2 points lower RA if even that ..
I use the head club pro 89.5

They are all the same
I sand them
Down to the Prepreg. Paint them back all black and occasionally I’ll put a few grommets in just for aesthetics .
But if you enjoy the most flexible Mids ever produced these are it . I’ve looked for 12 years now and there is not one more flexy .. especially after sanding . No sanding id put them low 30’s Ra

What's your string set up? I have two of these leaded up to 12oz and currently strung one with SynGut 16g at 45lbs. I do have the C10Pro and POG 107 but I felt nothing can beat this as far a s comfort is concerned. I have a mild case of GE/TE.

I've recently picked up some Pro Kennex Copper Aces and some Rossignol frames. I'm pretty much hooked on that graphite and fiberglass flex. They are the closest think to a wood feel that I've played so far. Just strung up an F230 and R990 and hit with them the other day. I think I'm spoiled now and probably will not be playing with my more modern frames much. I really don't know why they quit making graphite and fiberglass frames other than maybe it was cheaper to just use one material.

Anyway is pretty cool to stick poly in a frame and it feels soft. I haven't tried a multi in them yet, but I can only imagine it would feel like a pillow.

The most comfortable racquet I have ever used was the black and red Pure Strike 16x19! Odd selection I know but I loved those racquets. Felt very very nice.

Mine have been collecting dust. Hit with one today and actually can't remember why I quit using them. So much easy power, but I still don't think as plush as the 280. Recently added to the rotation thx to this thread -we'll see if they overtake my 280s.

Two days later - Asymmetric experiment over. This racquet is very stiff and feels nothing like the PT280. Easy power but at a cost. I remember why I quit using it now - arm pain. I have a soft string in it but it is still jarring esp. on off-center hits.

The Prince Phantom Pro 100 followed by the Blade 104(2015).

I thought The Prince Tour 98 ESP was very comfortable too even with a poly. It might be the most comfortable with a softer string.

Update: I have bought both the Pro 100 and the Tour 98 ESP and I think the ESP is more comfortable. Too bad it's probably the worst racquet I have ever used for volleying....serving is quite difficult as well.
I am looking to try the Prince Tour 100T ESP racquet to get better performance in those areas while hopefully still being so arm friendly. Also wanting to try the Blade 104 again because it's been quite some time since I last tried it.

Used any string in the Prince Tour 98 ESP. Using a syn gut at 63# currently. Wail away pain-free.

Fleabay is your best bet. Look for Pro Tour 630 and Pro Tour 280. Some folks claim that the Made in Austrian ones are far superior, but the difference is lost on me. MIA -$200 and up, MIC - $100 and up on the BAY. Anyway, that leather grip on a twenty year old frame wouldn't do you any good now.
