Hear a rumor Rusev showed up one day with the haircut, pissed Vince off.

Was watching an interview Corbin did with Van Vliet and Corbin said it took months for him get the approval to cut the hair. mentioned how toys are made and the molds are out there and merch being developed with a particular look in mind and cutting the hair changes all that and needs to go through proper channels.

It sorta made sense to me, and if Rusev did just show up like that one day I can see why they would be mad. Especially because he was close to the pinnacle. Then they announced the marriage to the world squashing the Ziggler/Lana angle before it got started and I can see why Vince would think this guy is only in business for himself. Hard to fault anyone for not wanting to work with Ziggler, nobody comes out of those for the better. But it'll take Rusev a while to gain the trust of management if ever, by then it'll be too late. Rusev has future AEW champ written all over him :)

The Kardashians built an entire empire off of one strategically leaked sex tape. It helped Paris Hilton get exposure as well. For some reason these things always leak at the right time.

I feel they should just announce a Mania match for the RAW tag belts. Vince can say he has a surprise team because the rest of the raw teams are lacking. He can say if the revival want a challenge he will give them one.

Bring out Unidusputed Era Oreilly and Strong to go at them. Those guys and Lorcan and Burch had one of the best tag matches I had ever seen and one of these takeovers a while back. no reason revival couldn't do the same. Although I'm not sure Dash or Dawson can do what Oney Lorcan does. The way he holds his index finger in the air is impressive.

O kid, I actually do think he is pretty good.

Decent. Kofi and Bryan at the end was the best part of the show for me. Everyone was behind him. Was legit getting teary eyed at the end, it was heartbreaking stuff. Do watch that match. Great main event

Womens chamber was okay, picked up at the end. Was looking forward to how the crowd would react to Carmella and the commentary team as well and there were some great remarks from Renee and Beth towards Graves lol.

Finn won the IC title so that was good. Even though I would have liked him to pin Lashley instead of Rush. Hope they give him a decent run with the title.

Ruby Riott got buried which was really bad. Then we had a nice segment with Ronda, Becky and Charlotte.

Strowman and Corbin was..well.. Strowman and Corbin.

Usos won the belts back, Murphy and Tozawa had a great match on the kickoff show.

All in all a good PPV.

Mike Johnson of PW Insider reports that several of NXT‘s top Superstars are backstage for tonight’s RAW at the Cajundome in Lafayette, Louisiana. According to Johnson, Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, Ricochet, and Aleister Black are all backstage. Whether they are involved in the show tonight remains to be seen, however. Johnson also reports that the script for tonight’s RAW is still up in the air.
@Wrestlevotes seems to confirm that the script is not set in stone with the following, “Interesting yet laughable… was told there was a push this week in Stamford to make RAW feel different tonight, with those in power urging everyone to “think outside the box”. That said, tonight’s show is not finalized as of now.”

When the crowd is into it and vocal it adds so much. When they aren't though, like tonight, I don't subtract points, just none get added. A good match is a good match and good booking is good booking. The only thing that brings Raw down for me is Michael Cole. Ugh

Yeah, it's just that I feel the NXT guys deserved a better reaction on their main roster debuts and it will be forever remembered as the Raw with the dead crowd.

Remember partners. WWE audience has no idea who these guys are. Relatively speaking. They probably get linked to that old Ciampa video when they do a search for him. And yes, even if the fans are aware of who they are, NXT is still just a little brand with a big backer. Not like the good old days when you have vignettes to hype your debut up. These guys were just rolled out there in typical stale WWE fashion.

First time I got to see the new opening. Stephanie front and centre. I don't know, her wrestlemania witch pose is the thing I came away thinking about. Was Jericho there?

Watched some of the highlights. Thought it was weird to see Ciampa and Gargano teaming up since the last time I saw them fighting each other but this is wrestling.

Hard to forget what you've seen in their career. Simple story, partner starts complaining, others tell him he is better without you. Turn on each other after a loss. Pro Wrestling is a lot like doubles.
