Nick Kyrgios is ranked #35.

Guido Pella is ranked #26. I never heard of Pella. I had to look him up. He's 28. He made it to the third round of a Major 2x.

That is all.

This is what makes Kyrgios frustrating. Pella is a solid journeyman who has been around a while doing his thing. However, if Kyrgios cared he would play more events and give it his all every point such as a Pella.

So, the fact that Pella is a much more respected and pure tennis player, and will have a much longer caeer than NK is sad.

But good for Pella that he is improving his game without being flashy and doing it the right way.

A lot of first match losses in either qualifying or the 1R on hard court or grass.

Yet finding a way to be more successful in the current system than Tiafoe, Kyrgios, dimitrov, Wawa, Shapo, Schwartzman, and some other good player. Dude deserves it, now will he stay there? Probably not long.
