Has Marcos Baghdatis something to do with these 12?

Baghdatis was born in 1985. He wasn't Roger's contemporary, but a NextGen. And he was a strong NextGen (one of many during Federer's peak/prime years)...not only making the 06 AO final, but the 06 Wimbledon semifinal. He simply didn't develop into a strong contemporary for Nadal and Djokovic, so they're the ones who most benefitted from Marcos Baghdatis.

Federer won 9 of his majors before 2007. He has only won 11 since. Nadal and Djokovic have each won 16 since 2007.

Federer is lucky he was able to vacuum up nearly half of his majors before Nadal and Djokovic’s arrival. Nadal and Djokovic have had to win almost all of their majors while wedged between 2 other all time greats.

When Federer and Nadal holds all four majors at once + YECs indoors, call me. Djokovic is the most complete player.

Won on outdoor hard court
Indoor HC
Clay
Grass

Everything simultaneously.

When Rod Laver won the Grand Slam in 1969, the Masters Cup (today WTF) had not been created.
The first edition of this prestigious tournament was played in 1970.

That’s an embarrassing answer. For over half of his career Federer was the second best clay court player in the world. And then Djokovic has been a great clay court player as well.

Neither guy could win 2 sets except for one occasion. Mediocre clay competition.

Isn’t there a statistician in TTw? There must be a better way to measure slam wins distribution.

If you look at how they all stood at the same age (ie end of season they turned 32 years old) the numbers are:

Federer: 10
Djokovic: 9
Nadal: 6

Wimbledon is tennis world championship
Lol, no it isn't. Federer fans can say that as many times as they want, that will not become true. All slams are equal, you like it or not. Why should Federer get more credit for being the best on grass than Nadal gets for being the best on clay?

Not more credit, but there is more prestige when winning WC. At the very least, it has been regarded this way by many.
