I fluctuate based on my anxiety and mood. Sometimes I think I look good and others I think I look horrible.
It’s kind of a paradox cuz if someone compliments me on my looks I will start over-analyzing the compliment and finding faults in whatever they complimented be it beard if I have one haircut etc.
So it changes for me.

I used to think I was one of the best looking people around. Then I had mental problems and had to take meds that made me overweight. My depression/anxiety made me stop shaving my beard/mustache and plucking my unibrow. I also don't cut my hair often. Even my own mother told me I was no longer handsome lol.
Now I trim my beard and cut my hair and feel like I look decent. If I lose some pounds (like 40) I could probably be extremely conceited again.

I was told good looking and co-workers asked me date, people in the gym keep looking at me and signals interest but I think I am just average, nothing special or bad.

there are times when I think of myself as gorgeous and there are times where I don’t understand how can I even go out in public with a such an ugly face lol. It all depends on what expectations I have right before I look in the mirror, depends on who I compare myself with, on mood, on current haircut, facial hair, on what angle do I see myself from (I think from certain angles I look better than from others) etc.

I’m glad I fluctuate on how I think I look because I’d hate to come off as a narcissist.
I think most everyone has good qualities it’s about enhancing them not dwelling on the bad parts of them.

People underestimate how game changing a good haircut can be. Accentuates the best angles like you said if you get it cut right.
Beard length is important too not everyone can pull off the wolverine beard. Past heavy stubble for me it is time to trim lol.
Beard can also look better/worse based on the hairstyle.

I've had strangers tell me that if they had my looks they'd go around having a lot of fun. But I think it has something to do with the context of living in the Philippines as a half race. I don't really think I'm that good looking. I'm sort of a mess now too. I barely play tennis anymore, and it's just something I don't really work at. The most I do is try to avoid looking like a jungle man so I don't terrify people on the streets.

I roll with an undercut a lot. Short sides and back with a good amount of lettuce on top. Fits my facial structure quite well and suits a beard or clean cut look. Can be styled or not and look good. Usually do like styling it with some pomade if I’m working. Used to be I would go full buzz but I’m bored of that.
