The biggest OS frame on the planet?

Just for fun sake, I would like to try a extremely big frame. Does there exist a frame that is actually playable and offers some control and is more than 137 sqin? IS this the limit?
That would be funny! :D

If im not mistaken Monical Seles once used leaded up Big Bubba?

anyway, im ready for your stories if someone tried something really big and how did it go?

the most funny note ever:

NOTE: DUE TO THE HEAD SIZE OF THIS RACQUET, 2 SETS OF STRINGS ARE REQUIRED.

Before they were restricted, the largest Big Bubba was 140 in² and and 31 in long. After the rules were revised, it became 140 in² and 29 in long. Actual hitting area limits are 15.5 in long and 11.5 in wide max.

@esgee48;

I never saw a 140 sq in Bubba after the limit was adopted.
I thought the length of the pre banned model was 32".
137 sq in & 29" L the Pro Blue cosmetics, is what I have.

There is a also a short 28" long; 137 sq in frame from the Gamma Diamond fibre 2.0 that you might find on resale sites.
Wilson had the what I considered a more powerful option for strong compact swing style players.
The swingweight is noticeably higher than the Gamma
Wilson Sledge Hammer Stretch 3.4 Outer Limits 135
Length of 29", Weight 9.7 oz., Balance 7 points Head Heavy, String Pattern 18x21.
Enjoy your frame hunting

Swing weight - 412 and its only 10.4 OZ something to look forward to, after I turn 80. The 117 is playable in doubles - serve, volley, half volley, lob, drop shot, and overheads (senior tennis at its finest, don't need no stinkin groundies).

I have a pair of the the current 29" 137 sq.in. Big Bubba. It is very playable and fun for my semi-full western grip, full topspin FH and SHBH type of game. My primary sticks are 12+ heavies but I know if I fully commit to this there wouldn't be any problems at all. I just have too many racquets that need my attention right now so... :)

There is no legal limit on sq inch size. The limit is on length of mains and crosses, so you could have a rectangular 160+ head size that's legal.
I play with a Bubba 137, shortened to 27" with lead in the handle to match the weight and balance of a POG OS.
One set of string with come up short about the last 5 crosses. I tie it off and use scrap to finish it off.
It is really good for returns way inside the baseline, lob returns behind the baseline, lobs, slices, moonballs and volleys. Old man tennis. Many may find control problems with everything else but you have to stick with it. I have been for 2 years.
