If Fed wins Davidenko then he will win FO.

Let's see what Davydenko can do against Roger Federer, since he said that
it will be easy to beat him....

Federer has never had problems with Davydenko.

He did. Fed almost went to a 5 setter with Davydenko in the Q. of the 2006 AO. Davydenko got tentative and could not convert and win the 4th set. I think that it is going to be a very, very difficult match for RF. It is going to be a 4 or 5 setter. Anyway, I hope the winner wins the FO.

I think both fed + nadal have tough opponents, 1 or both could lose. But i think fed has it a little easier with davy than rafa will with joker.

No chance. Looks like this is not a well thought of thread.

Anyway to be clear, Davidenko is no match to Federer and WILL LOOSE against FEDERER (so your 'IF' scenario is not valid).

In order for Federer to win FO assuming he clears Davidenko (for reasons above), He needs to beat Nadal (extremely extremely less likely Djokovic) which is again a tall order.

Bottom line ...Federer is not going to have a FO in his kitty anytime soon. He has a long wait (he will eventually get it).

Some comments here are not very intelligent. Davidenko is very good retriever and his game against Canas proved this. In the past for Fed it was also problem to defeat Davidenko once or twice.

Against Nadal Fed is quiet now after Hamburg. Let's see is my prediction correct or not.

The only comments that are not very intelligent are yours. Using Hamburg for your reasoning is stupid.
