This is so sad. We are unable to protect these giant cats from the most dangerous variants. We already lost a couple of lions this month to the virus

nice folks to have set him free.
Absolutely and they went from 50k to 500k subscribers pretty quick and have sent support to them in the hope they can keep doing what they doing.
(I don't know why but I think because these colonies are near fishing is why they keep finding a seal almost every day.)

Searched thread, not know if this posted before, have got snagged on each day:

Each ep. begins a bit boring, then fast chase scene, then dramatic climax, often a bit of blood, then all well that end's well. Each 2-3mins. A lot to like.

Eg. today:
Omg poor baby. These guys are such nice folks to have set him free. Thanks for the share!
wow... baby seal appears to have some serious 'bite'!
glad they managed to help him...

Aren't animals wonderful? Please share your stories/news/videos of animals, whether pets or not, here.
Sad day in Senti-land.
One of my three dogs, the mother of the other two, probably 13 years old or more, seems to have come to her end.
I won't go into the details, but I had to call an animal rescue/ambulance to take her to our local animal hospital, Frendicoes.
Tomorrow I will get to know her status.
Did not look like she would last another day. Not eaten for two days.

When I came to this house in 2009, she was sitting outside so I don't know her exact age. I've looked after her and her several litters since then. But been too busy in the last six years to pay any attention to my three.

Now they'll be down to two.

Sorry ... sad for sure. We lost both of ours in the last two years. We are going to wait a year before getting another one ... rescue dog again I'm sure. It's weird and sad not having a mutt greet you at the door when you are used to it.

Sad to read this but she was lucky to have you all these years. I hope she has a peaceful end

As @Azure said your eldest dog was blessed to have you as her guardian. Hope her children are doing OK, and after things settle down perhaps you'll consider making it a threesome again by adopting a new canine (or feline!) from your local animal shelter. (Totally understandable why people would want their own kids rather than adopt, but hard to justify buying a new pet when there are so many animals in need of a new home.)

Here, this might cheer you up:

Been meaning to share this delightful story for a while now. Seems as good a time as any.

She passed away at the hospital today morning. It was sad to see them down to two tonight.

Wondering if the two are looking around for her. They were eating well when I and two other neighbours fed them just twenty minutes ago.

Mother is the brown one in front. White one is her son, and black is daughter. This was taken in 2014.
I was going through some pics of when the black litter was a couple months old (2011), looking for a nice pic of the mother, and almost died of cuteness. The white son was a year old back then.

I don’t know what to say. As usual, when these kind of things happen.
