We are concerned that our favourite Djoker has not played since Tokyo.
How many times has a player won the U.S without playing any warm up tournaments?

No idea if it happened in recent years. Thiem probably lost r1 last year though in Cincy. So it's basically the same. Plus it was in same courts so it's like a practice match for Dominic tbh.

Wouldn't be surprised if Serena did it at least once, but maybe it hasn't happened on the ATP. Either way, how many times has a US Open contender even entered the US Open having not played any of the preceding North American hardcourt tournaments? Probably not very often, either.

Tokyo has been a month or more ago. A long time between matches. He obviously would much prefer a warm up before NYC. Something could be wrong. Hence the injury question.

If he goes down a set at any point he will call for the trainer. If not we won't see the trainer or any sign of injury. We all know what to expect with the Joker at this point :)

Remember, he’s an injured person that plays tennis.

wait, no, that’s another player.

is he the one with the mono and knee issues?

always get them confused
Nope he is the one who gets injured when he is getting whipped by his opponent. Then MTOs and long toilet breaks becomes a part of his strategy.

Actual Tsitsipas drew inspiration from him

First he came for Fedr's weeks at #1
and I did not speak out--
because I did not care for weeks at #1

Then he came for Fedr's YE #1
and I did not speak out--
because I did not care for YE #1

Then he somewhat came for Fedr's WTF titles
and I did not speak out--
because I did not care for exhos

Then he came for Nadal's moral injury record
and there was no record left
to speak out for him

There is no injury....he just gave a silly excuse to skip doubles and backed that by pulling out from cincy.

It's amazing how Djokovic has been a professional tennis player since 2005 and hasn't sustained a single injury in his career.

Every injury claim he's ever made is untrue. Every one! Unbelievable!

I don’t think he would do that if it was nothing, but I do feel he isn’t badly injured and is 100% ready

40% first serve percentage in the last sets of the Olympics indicates something was definitely injured. Can't just be fatigue... He announced "multiple injuries" including shoulder.

He has not given any official update since then.

But we can probably assume he is okay, or else he would have said something.

Wonder what else he was doing with the Belgian gymnasts in the Olympic Village apart from the yoga pics he posted. Maybe he injured his shoulder when the cardboard anti-sxx bed collapsed. He also had a serious case of bruised ego he had to recover from after losing the bronze medal match in particular to PCB of all people.

Slanderous unproven allegations. Get your mind out of the gutter!

Djoker was the most popular athlete in the Olympic Village.
