Morey should have traded Simmons the moment he demanded a trade. Free the team up from the drama and let him be an issue for someone else. Or not even accept him back in practice.I really wonder why the 76ers don't just cut their losses and dump Simmons. The guy in all probability still can't shoot and seems utterly unwilling to be a team player. Time to face reality and start looking for a replacement.
Gotta say I'm intrigued to see how Russ will fit in with the Fakers. Still expect the Clips to come out ahead with my other boy Kawhi, though.
Thought they'd be out with the list of 75 GOATs by Opening Day. 100% chance they'll get half of 'em wrong.
I think the Nets will be fine. Having KD and Harden alone will keep them as one of the top teams in the East. Giannis and the Bucks simply match up better between the two.LeBron is the best player ever. he may not have the greatest achievements and MJ is obviously GOAT currently but I have never seen a better player of the game of basketball.
The Lakers looked like complete amateurs though and wasted two gems from Bron+AD. Russ was an unmitigated disaster and Melo was almost as bad.
Nets are in real trouble without a vaccinated Kyrie imo.

So long it's neither Chomskyesque nor Pinkeresque.Need @donquijote 's analysis of the situation.
Lol I always believe a manager (the coach) should be capable of getting the best out of their workers.Need @donquijote 's analysis of the situation.
I agree, but it's a long season and I think they'll adjust. I also expect that they'll make moves at the trade deadline. Whatever happens, I think it's going to be a very interesting year. Both conferences are going to be an absolute dogfight. I'm 33 and I think this is the deepest and most talented I've seen the NBAIMO, I don't think the Lakers will make the finals if Russ doesn't adapt his playing style to LeBron and KDs. I think that'll be the biggest hurdle for the Lakers to get there.
Enes Kanter for Nobel Peace Prize. Wish he could be cloned.
Adam Silver should be required to do all public addresses in a Celtics #11 jersey.
Sadly, this is true about the tall, thin, bald puppet. Maybe the press pool could give him a nudge with some creative wardrobing. A sea of Celtic green #11 jerseys facing him at his pressers should remind him that there’s no good to be had from dirty money.$ilver will never call out real oppression because it upsets his Chinese overlords. He’ll submit to them just like he did with Morey.
I look at it simply as this:
Jokic retaliates after taking an elbow to the ribs from Markieff Morris.
Here's my take: Jokic deserves to be suspended for obvious reasons, but so does Morris. This is the result of the NBA letting players get away dirty play for years. If you pulled the same move that Morris did in a pick up game, there would immediately be a fight. The fact that Morris felt comfortable turning away after delivering a dirty hit should tell you all you need to know. Players like him, his brother, Pat Bev, Draymond etc have been getting away with this crap. Eventually a player will retaliate
Biggest thing about Steph that I have been impressed with is his defense. So far this season, he has been moving well on the defensive end and working. The W's finally have the bench depth that's making opponents having to 'play off' Steph but that hurts them. Love that the W's are 9-1 one right now (grew up a Warriors fan through the bad, bad years). The bench depth will be the key this season for them. I only think they can maintain this success when Klay and Wiseman return.Accentuate the positive…Chef goes 50/7/13 at age 33. Much bigger headline deserved, passing Wilt as the oldest to do the nickel with a dub dub. GSW is 9-1 and doing it as a team with Chef breaking out of a 4-game “mini-slump” (for him) scoring 20 or less. And still no KT.
Record may fall Monday night when the Pistons and OKC meet.More than halfway to the Laker all-time record (33 straight) and tied for 11th with 18 straight, the Suns rematch with GSW tonight in SF is must see NBA. Bridges shut Curry down (4 of 21 for 12 points) on Tuesday in Phoenix and the GSW combo of Poole/Porter faded in the fourth quarter to help deliver the 8-point win.
It should be a bit closer margin tonight than Memphis over (+73, a new record) OKC last night. That blowout was achieved without Ja Morant and with only three starters in double figures. Six reserves reached double digits with one rookie Santi Aldama getting a career first dub dub (18/10) in 28 minutes.
That's right. One more chance, Sir. Nets get Boston in the playoffs and Cavaliers will play whoever loses tonight. So the Nets are in and the Cavs play Friday?
May get to see the Cavs fFri. Local teams are blacked-out hereThat's right. One more chance, Sir. Nets get Boston in the playoffs and Cavaliers will play whoever loses tonight.
I didn't know the play ins were a thing. Just thought it was the top 8 automatically through. Limited knowledge here. Hyped for the match tonight.
Sorry about that.May get to see the Cavs fFri. Local teams are blacked-out here
Thanks for the memory,Sorry about that.
I'm into the LaMelo hype. Can remember him being on Raw with his did.
You getting into the NBA Slice?Sorry about that.

I've always had a bit of an interest but never got round to watching. Watched a lot of documentaries lately. I've been playing the game and watching the Winning Time show. Now is the time. You getting into the NBA Slice?
It’s my favorite pro league, even more than tennis probably.
NYK didn’t make it; the NY based playoff team to face the Celtics is Brooklyn Nets. That matchup dynamic will be all about Kyrie vs his old mates Tatum, Brown and Smart.I've always had a bit of an interest but never got round to watching. Watched a lot of documentaries lately. Casual fan alert. I've watched some games this week. A little easier to get used to players because there are 10 on the court at once. Kyrie Irving and Jayson Tatum impressed. I'll be watching the playoffs. Boston Celtics vs New York Knicks would probably be the series I'm most interested in.
Then the storylines. LA Lakers situation seems kind of baffling. Contracts seem mad. I should get used to it all in time. haha
It was funny listening to Stephen A Smith ranting about Zion's practice dunk. ''I am disgust.''
My brain couldn't keep up with my typing speed. I shouldn't make such an error. hahaNYK didn’t make it; the NY based playoff team to face the Celtics is Brooklyn Nets. That matchup dynamic will be all about Kyrie vs his old mates Tatum, Brown and Smart.
It’s confusing for even ardent NBA fans because NYK made the playoffs last year but regressed in 21-22.My brain couldn't keep up with my typing speed. I shouldn't make such an error. haha
Yeah, I've been watching some shows leading up to it. Who do you think will win the Nets vs Celtics series?
It sucks that you won’t see the Lakers in the playoffs this year. A totally overrated, overcovered team, but playoff LeBron is a phenomena of epic proportion, like “motivated Djokovic”, “uninjured Nadal”, and “Federer with layered hair”. Even at age 37 I bet he could have willed that sorry squad to a play in win. For the best I suppose.I've always had a bit of an interest but never got round to watching. First round week is like Christmas in April. Time wise will be tough for you but there’s always drama. Special eyes on Celts-Nets, @stringertom gives a great preview. KD+Kyrie will need to average 75 combined for the Nets to have a chance. Thing is, they almost certainly will, lol…
Eyes on Grizzlies-Wolves as two first time playoff darlings enter the fray, Nuggets-Warriors as MVP-elect Jokic looks to carry his team against the questionable fitness of Steph/Klay/Dray, 76ers-Raptors as Embiid+Harden are put to the test, and of course international flavored Jazz-Mavs.
Only the Suns-8 seed and Bucks-Bulls should be blowouts. Hopefully it’s Hawks who win the play in as they actually could push the Heat to the limit imo.
Trae Young is exciting. I don't think he was shooting or finishing too well at the start the other night. Might have improved because I didn't see all the match. He did have the dimer and needle threader playmaker badges activated. ''I like the way you move.''

Reggie Miller 2.0 treatment of Spike, no?
Look what he did in the Mecca last year.
