Beating an injured over the hill Nadal and barely winning tsitsipas. Not that impressive in hindsight.
Definitely ao 08, where he beat prime rog in straight sets, his only victory over prime rog in a slam.
Prime Feddy at AO08 . He was already past his prime at age 26 and was affected by mono as well. Plus, Nole has destroyed Feddy 4 times at AO so it was not really that tough of an achievement. ;)

He may have struggled early rounds but he played a great 2015 W final.

2008 was against mono Fed. 2021 was against Oldal. Not worth mentioning those.

I can't decide between Australia 2011 for sheer quality of play and dominance, or Australia 2012 for how impressive the physical and mental feat was.

Clay and RG GOAT Nadal, 2021 clay dominant Tsitsipas and super consistent 2021 Berrettini who only lost Djokovic in slams. All 3 were in good form.
Funny how Djokovic fans try to convince themselves that RG and DO is the same thing. It isn't. The organizers totally destroyed their tournament by turning it into DO. And the words "dominant Tsitsipas" sound ridiculous.

AO 12 for the B2B physical feat imo. 11 AO was impressive as well. Purely for level, 15 Wimbledon would be best if he hadn’t nearly got knocked out by Anderson. 11 Wimbledon might be better than 15 too, idk

Also why is AO 19 not on here? Yes Nadal played like a toilet but Djokovic’s level in that semi + final combined was ridiculous. Plus he didn’t have a meme match like the Simon one which drags down 2016

Wimbledon 2015 was pretty spectacular (2014 also very good, but I feel like he didn't play particularly well the last 2 rounds). The last 2 rounds of Australia 2012 were one of those feats that should not have been possible.

Poll only allows 10 options.

Australian open 2012 for me. The physical level he showed to defeat Murray and Nadal back to back and this was when both his opponents were in incredible form was just mind-blowing. Watch either of those matches to watch GOAT level tennis from all 3 players yet only 1 prevailed after 10sets of it.

Such a tournament doesn't exist. Last time RG was played was in 2019.
Yeah but still the most matches played on RG are normal conditions. I wish they(Nadal-Djokovic) have played usual conditions or for the next time. Organizers seem to not do that on a big match other than final which is unfortunate and wrong to me.

Wimbledon 2014 was shaky as hell.
That was a mental struggle.
Still one of the most important tournaments of his career.

I wouldn't call nearly choking both the SF and F away a mental feat at any rate. Good drama, but he had no business being ran that close.

AO 11 was the best and also likely one of the least exciting wins in the collection for how much better than everyone else was that tournament, but with no exciting matches happening

The thing that impresses me the most with Djokovic, is his ability to win slams when he is not at his best level. Those are the most impressive slams, as I see it :)

I don't think "most impressive slam wins" means the same as "highest level".

That AO2012 semifinals + finals double was out of this world. I'm stiil having trouble believing what happened, it was like yesterday.

Winning Roland Garros 2021 at 34 years old on his worst surface by going through Nadal and being tested in multiple tough matches that went over 3.5 hours to win the double career Slam will always be the most impressive win of his career in my opinion. Especially considering even his fans, me included, thought he'd never win that tournament again.

AO 08. Beat a then prime Roger in straight sets. Albeit had mono but this was the beginning and Roger was only 27 years old at that time, still In his prime.
Once a person has mono, it doesn’t matter how good you are, because that illness will affect anyone greatly. We already saw what happened once Federer recovered later in the year/ following year

If it’s purely about level then chances are we need to pick one of the earlier slams. But shouldn’t we consider it impressive that he won so much after turning 30? It’s very very hard to keep the focus and level necessary to win a slam at 32-33-34-35. Think of Nadal at RG. Isn’t winning at 36 an incredible feat, even if his level is not as high as prior years?

Yes, not his most convincing in terms of performance, but in this day and age of garbage grass court fields he had in 2014 about as strong a one as you could possibly get the past 15 years. 2015 was slightly less strong, but also damn impressive, and his own performance makes up the difference.

So Fed was washed 14 years before he retired? Good, I knew he was overrated.
The intermittently riduculing of Federer is welcomed, more of it Pls.

As far as I'm concerned Nadal was injured from birth.
But the same forever injured guy beat Novak in Rome a week before their RG meeting.

I think people are getting peak and prime confused more and more lol

Roger's last prime year was 2012 imo.

Prime = still capable of playing his best tennis but not as often as in his peak and the consistency during matches not quite the same as peak either.

Roland Garros was never played in 2021. This tournament ended after 2019. Djokovic fans can repeat a million times a day that DO is the same thing with the same conditions, that will not make it true.

Yes, RG ended in 2019 just like how you ended watching tennis in 2021. Tell us again.
