witt4ace,
Sorry to inform you but it's not that easy. Some strings are better than others but it really depends on your playing style and likes/dislikes. A thinner gauge string helps with spin, but your hitting style matters more. If you hit with topspin strokes it really does not matter what string you hit with that much.
Take Rafa for an example. He uses Babolat Duralast 15L, one of the thickest tennis strings out there, but he gets massive topspin, totally because of his grip and the way he swings at the ball. Gut is the best string by far but it's expensive. Then there are the new groups of Poly strings that will work for control, but don't hold tension well. Finally there are hybrids, mixtures of poly and gut or synthetic gut strings.
It really comes down to experimention of different string with the racquet of your choice to find what works best for you. Ask all you like but you will not know until you try for yourself. Best of luck in your search.

nothing beats luxilion alu power rough. even roger uses that
I thought he used pro hurricane tour?
Bundey,
Babolat advertises that Rafa uses PHT in the US and other countries where Duralast is unavailable; PHT and Duralast are very similar.

Well, I use (for now) a monofilament that you've probably never heard of. It's a textured, but it's 15l so it can withstand a beating. It's Alpha Ultra Spin 15l Classic.
Pro Supex Blue Gear 1.25

just go lower gauge
like LUX TIMO ACE 18gauge...or any other good rep brand...youll find out that these so called "topspin strings" arent good in the long run in regards to playability (ive tried prince and iso speed)...or better yet just get "NATURAL GUT" its the ultimate string for power spin...
---right now Im using cf mains and h.rip x (but my grip is xtreme western)
Don't you mean higher gauge? higher = thinner and more spin right?
Yes, higher gauge--thinner strings.
For spin try Blue Gear 1.25 or Big Ace Micro 1.15.
The micro will not give as much spin as Blue Gear. Remember that Blue Gear is hex shaped.
^^^ Let me guess, David Lloyd?
I play at a DL a lot also and I notice a big difference in the kick off the ball on carpet vs hardcourt. The great thing about that carpet is that slice is amazing if you get a low driving slice. That and slice serves work very well I find
