The correct grammar is "If you were to have", I believe. Had is past tense.
If I were to have 1 million just for tennis equipment, I'd create my own racquets.

Actually I think it is correct as written. The sentence is using a second conditional. The second condtitional is used to talk about things that are improbable in the present or future. If + subject + simple past verb is the correct grammar.

I have 100+ rackets in a closet and let me tell you it's not a pretty sight. I've got lots of the oldies but goodies as well as plenty of the newer players frames. I'd love to sell some of them but just haven't had the time. Right now I'm using the Pure Storm Team and perfectly happy. The only frame I'd consider investing in is the early Austrian Prestige Classic 600. I've only ever had one of those in my possession and it was better than any of the Prestiges since -- stiffer and more headlight and with the sweetest feel.
