I'm a member but wish I wasn't at times. I'm just so sick of stringing that I'm ready to just pay to get the job done :D

I've had my own stringer for 20+ years and break a lot of string and am always stringing it seems. I use the Neos 1000.

Count me in, I use the Alpha Revo, I've been stringing for a few years now for myself and a few friends. I've probably only strung 500-1000 frames so I'm still pretty new....

i estimate i have strung over 5000 racquets does that count? i have been spoiled, started on prince pneumatic, cannot remember the model, then a prince 3000, and now a prince 5000, of course i work at a proshop in a large city and we are easily the number one option in town.

good point...the main point of this club is that people can share their experience on stringing. and about club salute/handshake/kiss...do any of the members have any good suggestions?...

I suppose I belong. Silent Partner Swing, for only a year and a half. I don't generally think of myself as a stringer, though. Just a tennis player who strings his own racquets. A stringer is someone who strings other people's racquets.

i thought that's what this forum is, or is for...and the Stringing Machine forum??? right??? so, technically are we (who have used these forums) in the club? it's like a club within a club... within a club!

what the heck... i feel that i need to add something to my signature anyway! JK ;)

Newbe, been stringing for about 2 months on a Prince Neos

Use Kirschbaum Proline 2 on my Speedports and Proline 2/Prince Synth gut on my sons Aero Pro Drive's.

For now, all members please add " -TTWS member- " to their signature.
BTW, this club DO NOT have a president. i think it's the members that makes up this club. Without good members, what's the use of being a president..... I myself is just trying to keep this club in order.

At first, i just thought it would be cool to have a club that can gather all the stringers on this board. And since i see none, i just started one. This post is just for people to join the club. People can still ask or answer questions on the board. This is only the second day since the club started, I will try to make this club better when i have time.

I have an Eagnas Combo 3800. I have been stringing since 1989. While in college, I started in a pro shop with a Prince P 200. I now only do my own.

At present, though, this seems like just an exercise in "Who I Am"; will there be a facebook, too!??? Perhaps you could adopt a "rolling admissions" policy toward those who might like to see some point to it all first.

Hi westy,

Yeah I just got the stringer from tennis nuts....pretty good deal as it gives a very consistent stringjob and speeds up my time. The K95 is my mates bat...he smashed it during a doubles league when he started playing...erm...crap :)

How much did you get the stringer for..

It looks very nice. Hpe it doesnt end up like your mates wilson.

My advice is for him not to borrow your machine. the machine and his racket will be broken at the same time
