I love pro red i use it as a full set up on my 2 sticks and i think it holds tension well for a polyester string, PHT is a joke for tension hold but is very nice for like the first 5 hours

I like PHT better...red code is harsh, lacks feel and hurts my arm (IMO).

which is heavier ?? PHT or red code ?? PHT does lose tension fast. does red code really lack feel ?? then how does John Isner hit those touch volleys so well at net???

Yes but if the string lacks feel, even the pros cannot execute the shot properly

Yes they can.....just look at all the pro's using full poly...most of those polys lack feel.

i'm currently using both.. and edging to PHT as its crisper i think and holds tension way better.

Ok here is a man who thinks PHT holds tension much better. so which is it.? which string holds tension better ? more importantly, which string plays better ??

well i strung prc on a crank and i just got my wise and did pht on that? i think pht plays better imo

pht tension holding is pretty bad... red code doesnt seem to lose too much. personally i like red code much better cause i just like stiff strings. i did like the pht when i used to use it but i hated playing with it after it lost tension.

i will be using pht though every 4-5 times max. so i think its ok for me

I feel exactly same way. PHT after it loses tension plays like TOFOO. it becomes very mushy and no feel and starts lose control on all your shots. this happens even faster if the weather is really HOT. If weather is cold then PHT lasts little longer. So i guess i will give the red code a try, i suppose and see what happens. I am using Kirschbaum at the moment but it too loses power and control after about 1-2 weeks.

personally i like pro hurricane tour much more. its not near as stiff and harsh as red code.

i really cant say much on the tension loss part of pht though. i normally broke it after 4 to 5 days of hitting, so it never lost tension when i played with it.

I agree. Rafa uses full 15 gauge Duralast (a first generation poly, right?), and he has some touch.
