Hmmm should i get a K90 just to have a K90?

I used this frame for about a month a few months ago but i just don't think i'm good enough for it yet, it just limits my game in certain areas. I'm 4.0 to 4.5 (rated by a legit teaching pro), 15 and play high school tennis. My racquets are in my sig but i'm currently using a leaded up MG radical, and i have a chance to get the K90 now.

Anyways, like the PS85, PC600, RDX500 etc, is K90 a keeper frame?

I got one for the hell of it. I don't see whats so hard about using this racquet. To me, it's no different than hitting with my Pure Drive, with the exception of taking bigger swoops at the ball without going out.

If you want it, get it.

i'd say get it if you are going to use it... if you are just going to let it collect dust then what's the point?

I don't think its a good idea if your not going to use it. If the K90 is going to limit your game like you said then I don't see a point in buying this racquet.

Well i mean for collection i guess. I can play with it. It's not a huge transition from my K95 and BR here said he would trade it for my K95 that collects dust..

I have 2 K95's and i'm getting rid of them so just thought i could buy a K90 since it is a pretty sweet racquet. Just have to play at a high level to play with it.

If I were you and didnt have one, Id get one just to keep it for the future. It might be a great collective later on..just like the St. Vincent from Pete :)

Shashwat,

I just don't understand why people would like to get a racquet they can't use to their potential just to have, like it has magical powers. As indicated, it is probably a bad investment and the novelty will soon wear off. Of course, I also believe you can buy or use anything you want, even if it hurts you. I would think a young man of 15 could find something better to spend his money on.

Look at it this way. Say you have a great, well established, money manager looking after your investments and business interests. Then a young hotshot, just out of college with no experience asks you for an investment in "the hopes he someday will be a good money manager." Are you going to give him some or all of your money? Assume this is your parents money since you are 15 and have relatively little. Will you risk your inheritance on "his hopes of becoming a great money manager?" This is akin to what you are doing with your tennis game.

Good luck and good tennis to you.

Maybe you should wait a little. The prices may go down? :)

And also, I wouldn't get it just for the collection until maybe later you know for sure.

iirc, some time back you had posted that you had money problems and could not buy the rack you wanted.

Why waste money on a rack you can't use! Get those new speedports/O-ports, haha.

Just get it, I'm also in similar financial situation, but I get really happy when I buy a new racquet. Also since its such a demanding racquet, it makes you concerntrate and play more which is a good thing
