yesterday i was doing a fill aul power job in a diablo mid, and it was actuayl very nice, i string mostly syngut and usualy do not care for the stif stuff but it was great

You're being sarcastic right?....Right?....Poly is horrible to string, it's way too stiff to be comfortable, as MTChong said the crosses are brutal, and it just cuts up your hands during the whole process. There is nothing, and I mean nothing about stringing poly that I would describe as a "pleasure".

lol this is funny...crosses are a pain for me too...keeps wanting to tie itself at times when u weave i swear! The mains are easy though

Polys are not bad on the mains but the crosses are a pain. How could enjoy weaving with something that is so stiff?

Some polys in some frames are just as easy, if not easier than synthetics. However, this is not that often, I find..

Poly mains are fine to string, but weaving crosses, especially in a tight pattern, is not fun.

The only thing about stringing poly that is a pleasure is the final knot in that it means I'm done!

i concur.
although i strung my friend's POG oversize yesterday, and he likes full Luxilon Ace, and that was extremely easy. took me 25 minutes, which is about 10 minutes faster than i normally take to do full poly. i was really surprised. but other than ace, i havent found a poly that's fun, or easy to string.

F*uk poly. **** is slippery, it's hard to pull, and when you pull it cuts your hands up like butter. Don't even get me started on the textured ones...
When I used to work at a tennis shop, we drove our customers away from poly (and RIP Control) because none of us wanted to string it. And if we do, we give it to the newbie... "If you can string polys in a Prestige, then you can string anything, now go practice"

it's very satisfying finishing a 17 g cyberflash poly job in an NXG, though. i enjoy the challenge of trying to weave crosses across the center mains. i test to see how fast i can go and still get a good job. it's definitely taxing, though.
