You're being sarcastic right?....Right?....Poly is horrible to string, it's way too stiff to be comfortable, as MTChong said the crosses are brutal, and it just cuts up your hands during the whole process. There is nothing, and I mean nothing about stringing poly that I would describe as a "pleasure".

One man's pain is another man's pleasure?:)

Polys are not bad on the mains but the crosses are a pain. How could enjoy weaving with something that is so stiff?

Some polys in some frames are just as easy, if not easier than synthetics. However, this is not that often, I find..

The only thing about stringing poly that is a pleasure is the final knot in that it means I'm done!

i concur.

although i strung my friend's POG oversize yesterday, and he likes full Luxilon Ace, and that was extremely easy. took me 25 minutes, which is about 10 minutes faster than i normally take to do full poly. i was really surprised. but other than ace, i havent found a poly that's fun, or easy to string.

F*uk poly. **** is slippery, it's hard to pull, and when you pull it cuts your hands up like butter. Don't even get me started on the textured ones...

When I used to work at a tennis shop, we drove our customers away from poly (and RIP Control) because none of us wanted to string it. And if we do, we give it to the newbie... "If you can string polys in a Prestige, then you can string anything, now go practice"

my arm almost fell off using ALU, had to go to the softer polys, still played just as well, lasted longer, and cheaper. ALU is for the birds!

INHO stringing Poly does not = pleasure unless you're the Marquis De Sade

it's very satisfying finishing a 17 g cyberflash poly job in an NXG, though. i enjoy the challenge of trying to weave crosses across the center mains. i test to see how fast i can go and still get a good job. it's definitely taxing, though.

i actually prefer stringing poly hybrids over full syn gut jobs. unless of course the crosses on the poly hybrid involve GAMMA RUFF!!

Polys are fine...when you have strung so many sets of it you just get used to it. I find it no worse than any other string..

I actually prefer stringing non-textured polys to "softer" strings. They're faster on a drop weight since you don't have to wait for them to stretch much and the stiffness of the string works well with the "pull" technique of weaving crosses.

I do enjoy stringing Head Prestige Mids with BB Original... not really

but polys aren't bad, once I figured how the trick to make them weave as fast as most SG
