yes, I know, I am captain obvious. But watching just today's final, sure we can say that Fed could have played better. But even if he had played better today, I think it would still be straight sets for Nadal, perhaps it would be just closer, but still inevitable. I really think Nadal can win another 4 French open in a row. Just think about that for a second. Absolutely unheard of, yet achievable in his standards. I love Fed as much as one fan can admire a player, but we just have to be realistic. In order for Fed to beat Nadal, Fed needs to be at A+ level, and Nadal has to drop significantly, to a B-, possibly C+, and even then, I think that will only create a victory for Fed for a full 5 sets worth of tennis. Nadal is a clay beast, and I just don't see anyone challenge him in the near future, no one is even close, and even if someone is somewhat closer, I don't see someone pushing him to 5 sets, maybe 4, and that is how dominant he is on clay.

I know what you are saying and I think the same thing. Nadal on the other hand doesn't think so...

I don't think so.He is the only claycourt specialist in the world so...

Oh yeap the other are Not "claycourt specialist" they are just wannabes!!

Let's list the great claycourt specialist who Nadal has faced over the last past 4 years.

- Marat Safin
- Ferrero
- Mario Puerta
- Coria

I am too tired to think....but I am sure he's faced some tough guys out there.

It took you 4 years and 28-0 to realize that.

If he keeps this up for a few more years...Yes I will consider him the best player on clay of all time...I don't care if he is the only *specialist*...he is DOMINATING the surface...of course Federer is/was dominating everything else u_u.

Federer was lucky he didn't get double bageled. The only game he won in the first set he was down 15-40 on his serve and hit a couple of aces and good first serves to bail him out.
