how does big ace compare to luxilon bb alu power?
no comparison really, big ace is much more soft and powerful, ALU is much more control and spin, i prefer Cyberflash(very similar to ALU) with Big ace in the crosses
I second this, bb offers more spin and control than big ace, how do you compare bb alu with cyberflash? so far i find cyberflash stiffer with less spin, less bite, and less power i need further testing before i come to a final conclusion

I recommend someone to try this pair together since they liked CF so well, but needed a durable, softer cross.
I have some CF I haven't tried yet, but think I need to give this pair a go myself.
I know tension is supposed to be dropped when using multi, but I don't drop tension with BA micro.
When using CF, what would you suggest tension wise as far as dropping or compared to BA?
Out of curiousity what makes big ace superior? imo its a solid string but by no means the greatest, is it trend following or does big ace have characteristics that make it superior?
Big Ace is soft but very lively .. packs good power and overall feel is good.. yes, there are better strings for more power, softer polys, ect. but IMO it's a nice overall string .. I use it to hybrid with Blue Gear ,which is awesome for spin but a bit stiff, like most polys.. if I didn't desire the crazy spin Blue Gear gives out, I would string with Big Ace ,full job(but tighter)..
Big Ace plays a bit like Luxilon Timo ,but cost a lot less... plus the color is cool if you like RED,if not the platinum white,or yellow are the other choice... and it's made in Germany, I tend to trust German and Japanese made products over others, just like in cameras, cars and tools..
Luxilon is a good string but what they are charging for their strings is a rip off, comparing to what Big Ace and Blue Gear is..
Anybody like timo? i think its a great poly, maybe i shoulda listed bbo instead
TiMO goes dead way too fast: 6 hours or less. It's a waste of money unless you like quickies.

I love ProLine II 1.15mm. I am tempted to say it is the best poly I've ever used and I've use a lot of strings.
