Pac-10 championships in Ojai this week going thru the weekend. Radiotennis will have the coverage this weekend. I am picking all Stanford final in this one. This event also showcases the Open Draw where Sam Querry made his name here few years ago. so expect some great tennis in Open draw as well. I am planning a trip myself this weekend to Ojai. Who do you think will win the PAC-10 men's tournament?

The likely favorite is Robert Farah, who is 3-1 with Clayton.... Also, there's a greater chance of having an all USC final like last year than having an all Stanford final. However, i think that a Farah vs Clayton final is the most likely.

Agree, Farah if healthy is a threat. but he maybe taken out by Klahn before he gets to the final...:)

Amit Inbar has bounced between #6 and #7 for UCLA this year. If all UCLA players were healthy, he would never crack the lineup (Abid, Srugo, Brooklyn, Seguso, Look, and Meister are all ahead of him).

How is this a raw deal for Klahn?

Wire has a very unpredictable game. If he is hot, he can beat anyone. He won the regionals couple of years ago.

Alex Clayton plays someone named Jose Izquierdo from Oregon. Never heard of him. Should be a ROUTE. LOL. Actually Alex should cruise into the final. There is noone that can challenge Alex before the final by looking at the draw.

Alex Clayton and Bradley Klahn cruises into the quarterfinals. Way to go guys. Looks like Brad will play USC's #1 Farah in the semifinals. I like his chances there since Farah has problems with Lefties...

Alex Clayton displays his good form in dismantling A. Carrasco of Arizona. 6-1, 6-1. This is the easiest win anyone had in the entire tournament.

Yup,,,just as i thought. Bradley Klahn over Matt Brooklyn 7-6, 6-4. Very nice win for Brad. now a little bit of a challenge with R Farah next...

i actually think farah will lose. he didn't impress me this week. klahn should win with some solid play.

Was this prediction before or after the match ? cause you called it right. Bradley Klahn ADVANCES to the finals with a UPSET win over Farah. but on the SAD note, Alex Clayton goes down in the semis today. S Johnson is a dangerous opponent and Alex was still little slow from the injury. Anyway, Good Luck Brad in the finals. You are truly the star on the rise.:)

I was at the match today, Farrah didn't play too well and Klahn was ripping forehands left and right. last two days have not been good to Farrah.

its a prediction if its before the match. its called a result after. i didn't get to watch today's match, but farah wasn't too impressive this week compared to others. and klahn has been playing well the whole tournament. clayton needs to stay off that injury if he plans on making a run at the ncaas. get some rest.

Farah has problems with Lefties anyway. he went down last month to UCLA's Hatham Abid. another lefty.

Steve Johnson has one of the better hook em forehands. It is hit very heavy, and with lots of topspin. and it land in short angle and pulls people off the court. then he pounces on the next short one like a Puma.:)

AMAZING doubles match going on. Stanford vs UCLA. Stanford up 5-4 in the 3rd set. this is as close as it gets for the PAC-10 doubles championships... reminds me of Federer vs Nadal at wimbledon.

anyways I just want to say I turned on the tv and caught a few good points in the singles final. Turned it off to watch a bad episode of the Simpsons and then say the end of the match where both players looked rather weak. Tennis went from a high level to meh.. Also that Stanford player looked like a crybaby punk when he started whining and got a well deserved code violation. the ball was well in.

oh and I'm glad a norcal team won even though stanford is a preppy school. at least they beat usc.

One Correction. Bradley Klahn wasn't crying about the drops shot that was well in. He was complaining about the 2nd serve that looked well out at the beginning of that point.
and Bradley looks like he is improving everytime i see. At this rate, he will go on to become top 5 in the nation.

You should predict that he crack the top 25 or so before you can start making (even more) outlandish, wild predictions saying he'll be in the top 5 soon enough. Hell, your crush, Alex Clayton, isn't even top 5. "Standford" isn't as good as you say they are. Stop acting like they are.

I honestly think Klahn is playing better than Clayton at this moment. but Alex is still playing #1 during the NCAA and that is the way it should be. Stanford is scary good right now....:)
