As you can see in my sig have 2 i prestige MP's and 1 i radical MP(austrian L5 version)

Sweet heavenly sticks but I have been having ongoing issues with grips.

One i prestige MP is a 4 1/2....once a Babolat leather grip and full cap grommets were installed she became perfection.

The other 2 racquets are 4 5/8...just a smidge too big for me, esp serving...the too big grip limits the snap I need to hit good slice and kick.

I have tried to find 4 1/2 Head pallets and failed. (extremely weak that these are not readily available to the consumer, could be a huge selling point for Head frames) Watched the u tube video and tried to remove a 4 1/2 pallet of a spare chinese i radical and broke it!!!

Grrrrrrr......

Well in a backwards sort of way the problem is no solved...the solution?

Tennis warehouse leather grips!!

I installed the thinnest choice TW leather grip on the 4 5/8 i radical and it feels nearly identical to the 4 1/2 i prestige with the Babolat leather grip installed.

The TW grip is thinner than the Babolat leather, the set up feels almost identical.....

Kudos to TW for such a fine product. The i radical played awesome today.

I need one more for the i prestige 4 5/8 and I will be set.

$7 fix vs an expensive trip to the pro shop or mailing to NY....

Thanks huge TW!!!!

I'm still not quite sure how changing a grip could have an impact on the shape of the pallet.

The TW leather grip is thinner than the Babolat leather grip.....thus the 4 5/8 pallet with the thinner TW grip is about the same size in the hand as the 4 1/2 pallet with the Babolat leather grip installed.

The shape does not change.....

Unlike many others, I like Head grips not seeking to change the shape....only the size as it feels in my hand.

Oh, I just misread thinking that you wanted it to feel similar to a Wilson pallet not wanting it to feel like a 4 1/2 pallet. lol.
