Verdasco's Exclusive Production Technifibre Racquets-2005 to Date

There are many posts providing information (or misinformation) and comments about Verdasco's custom sticks.

Well, I actually have all 3 of Verdasco's custom Technifibre racquets. These are his actual racquets customized to his specs. These are the three racquets versions Verdasco has used from 2005 to date.

I will be posting pictures of these racquets with the assistance of my good friend Ericsson, who has graciously agreed to help me get the photos loaded(thanks for your help Ericsson:)).

Hope you all enjoy the photos.

Sincerely,

RacquetCraft

How did you get a hold of his frames?

btw can't wait to see the pictures

If I tell you how I got them, I'd have to kill you! (just kidding of course:) ).

The pictures should be up in the morning..Ericsson is in Europe so give the time difference, I'll indulge him and let him get some shut-:wink:eye

I look forward to the pics RacquetCraft. I have often thought that the pros would get such a chuckle out of us, that they would be very accomodating to have their racquets analysed by us. They could sit back on an off day and enjoy the show :)

Maybe because pro stringers have the luck to get in touch with pro players and/or racquet/string manufacturers? ;)

Another here really looking forward to seeing and reading about an actual top pro's frame (although I said the same thing not long ago on the infamous "I got Andy Roddicks racket" thread which touched new heights in farce, intrigue and even potential tragedy... ) I'm sure this one's going to fine though!

great find..

can you post spec on racquet?

static weight?
headlight?
head size?
grip?

Thanks

What's your verdict now that you've seen the photos???Fake or real???:)

I assure you, these are the real deal!!! Enjoy folks.

BTW,to respond to another post on these boards discussing whether Verdasco plays with an extended length or not. Verdasco's earlier sticks were extended length. But he has since changed his set up!!!

So by posting these pictures, can we confirm that he's using the same Major Bullit Elite mold except with different lay-ups for each one?...with the exception of the last two rackets which he probably used more recently (Old TF 320 & VO2 Max PJ's)

Well look at what I found

Caught red handed with a leather grip :)
Are there leathers under the rackets of his that you have? I could have sworn on TW someone said he uses a TF synthetic and an Wilson Pro Overgrip...

Hi Ericsson...YES I DID..and now i'm literally craving for one of this beauties..but unlickily according to Thierry and Giandonato Bava (TF Italy boss) nothing to do until 2nd half of september for us... :( For the first time i have the strong feel that they/we have not yet another updated/upgraded/undercover SP Procord :D <BTW my own SP IS updated/upgraded/revised every year..and it's still my workhorse after some 60,000 stringjobs-SP 70 barely reaches 15,000 and it's not that newer..i'm going to sell the 70 methinks :D > We'll have something to show to those conceited Baiardo/Sensor/Precision700AO stringers (hey people, i'm joking....)

Congratulations for the upcoming miniEricsson..i'd recommend you low compression, bicolour Mini balls instead of the usual, boring bees over his/her cradle...

Congratulations!
Ericsson are you familiar with a certain Xavier Moureaux, who is also a stringer? He strings for many pros as well, he is like 30ish. Great guy.

RacquetCraft & ericsson,

So what were your impression on how it actually plays?

I'll defer to Verdasco to comment on the playing characteristics of his racquets. I'm not sure my comments would add much value.

All three racquets were made up for Verdasco from base hairpins and built up per spec and include his player specific grip.

don't sell this stuff here, or you will probably get banned.

(Note: You can try in the FS/T section, but considering sales outside of the FS/T will be considered as "dealing")

No kidding. I doubt that most pros could tell you the weight of their grips and dampeners, the stiffness rating of their frames or the swingweights, details that drive our racquet decisions.

Alex78, you just don't know how right you are on this point:wink:

Players play! don't get me wrong, some players actually know what they like (or think they like), but if you guys ever had a conversation with many of the touring pros about their racquets regarding their swing weight, balance, etc etc, and brought up all the stuff that's discussed on this and similar discussion boards, they would have a blank stare and dismiss you as if you were a martian:lol:
